    NOTE: At the end of the video it says that we can change the *Amps* of the inductor to modify the behaviour of the circuit, this is wrong, it should say *Henrys*. Not sure how this translation error happened, in the original video and script it says Henrys. I will check in to this to avoid similar problems in the future 😁
    by the way, new video on how X-Ray works is coming soon :)

    Many products will reject a battery at 1.3 Volts and say "low battery". This is like putting 15 gallons of gasoline in our car and have it show empty when we use the first 2 gallons. The Joule Thief helps us get back what would be wasted.

    • @migsvensurfing6310
      @migsvensurfing6310 11 месяцев назад +2

      Rather at 14.5 gallons down. Way most products are designed to run down to 1 volt per cell wich leaves the battery almost completely empty. The choice of 1 volt per cell has two resons First: Most devices has build in controllers that run on 3.3 volts and needs it stabilized (for a four cell device) wich introduces voltage loses. Secondly: A completely depleted battery is way more likely to start leaking.

    It's not free energy, it is raising the voltage but reducing the duty cycle. So instead of steady flow of 1 volt, it will create pulses of 2 volt at 50% duty cycle (i.e. remaining on for only 50% of time).
    Free energy is when u r creating more energy than u r putting into the system, that is both voltage and current should increase.

    • @nintemod98
      @nintemod98 10 месяцев назад +3

      Maybe it's called "free energy" because it's a way to use depleted batteries that have no value for average user?

      I am from Poland This is free energy If you know how to use it and you know how to expand It will actually increase the current and voltage I know how to do it and I assure you it is free energy You write and probably do not understand what you are writing You have more energy at the output If you have, i.e. you take 5A and increase the voltage from 12 v to 200v then you already have more energy at the output So 12vx5 A = 60 watts At the input you have 60 watts And now at the output 200vx 5A = 1000 watts As you can see at the output you have 1000 watts As you can see at the output you have more energy

    I doubt anyone understands this but a jewel thief is more or less a Tesla coil. Although tesla used the bifiler coil as a capacitor. More so if you at a capacitor with the same Capacity as the inductor in series it becomes a High frequency pulse amplifier.

    I built a couple of those but still dont fully understand them.
    I even looked at them with an oscilloscope and I see what happens but it still puzzles me a bit.
    I dont really understand why the voltage goes higher and higher. When the magnetic field of the coil collapses it induces the high voltage. Then the transistor closes connection so the voltage can only go through the LED. But THEN the transistor switches on again.. Why doesnt the voltage just go to the negative terminal of the battery ?
    Or will the voltage induced be in series with the battery ?? Oh maybe I got it ?? Is the induced voltage in series with the battery over and over, thus increasing until it can flow through the LED (and being capped by the led ?
    Lol if that is correct just writing this comment made me understand it.
    I'll check to verify with my oscilloscope.
    PS: Thanks for the video ☺ I can clearly see that you put lots of effort in it :) awesome animations and explanation. Still hard to get your head around.

      Until you know and understand how to capture it. The secret is that the magnetic field is unlimitedly duplicable when in this state. Voltage and current are just side effects. And today's entire planetary electricity system is built on this "small" and "limited" side effect. Have a good day.

      Correct. It's simply a voltage booster. It doesn't create energy, it unlocks the energy from a low-voltage battery so that it can be used to power loads that need more voltage to work.

    Ok all the super smart people here 2 questions, #1 if you increased the amount of coils and you wrap them to where there is multiple levels of coils stacked on top of each other does that mean that there would be more power produced? #2 if you take away the LED bulb and instead run it straight to the battery and you have a battery that is capable of recharging would this in turn recharge the battery? And I guess I have a 3 question how does a rechargeable battery work opposed to an alkaline battery? Why are you not able to recharge alkaline batteries? Thanks ahead to anyone that can comment or answer these questions
