100% agree on the "running around as a loser" is best MMO character. I loved GW1 (at least at the start) because it felt like you were just along for the ride with Rurik and trying to just help people along the way. You weren't ThE cHoSeN oNe.
Not the biggest fan of doing it over and over, but discovering tailor made core gw2 maps and their secrets is definetly one of my favorite gaming memory. I wish map were more like core/Hot still but mount kinda ruined that and the "feeling of scale". Bee are S+ tier pollination, honey, fluffy and friendly but there is a lot of cool insects overall
Yeah doing it repeatedly is what I fear. I did it only once, but want to make more gen 1 legendaries and I have to do map completion again now for that. I do find it tedious really. It was maybe cool years ago, but doing it now seeing how most hearts are similar (kill this, kill that), it just doesn't feel that magical or good. Core maps are definitely more packed and more purposefully built it seems with small things like "gardens" where you have multiple harvest nodes and it just seems like there are more secrets, but the gameplay loop of map completion is soul draining to me. Even though mounts kinda ruined these maps because they feel super small now as you mentioned, I wouldn't want to play without mounts anymore.
Why do people race to finish the map rapidly, enjoy the game people. I finished my first map completion in like 2 months.. Take it easy and don't rush stuff
Because its fun for the veterans. They made it multiple times so they remember basically everything in game and they need some challenge to make map completion fun again. Nobody said you have to rush it.
Nah it wouldn’t be 30, I had to cover all the distance anyway so the time save would be minimal, i did have 3 maps done already though which changes things, but the timer was just for the fun anyway.
@@MrQuay03 bro you have a bank and storage. Not to mention you can salvage everything you literally don’t need. I mean please don’t make it seem like you’re that incompetent.
@@gunnarfraser1596 unlike you, most people just want to play the game and not playing inventory management. A bank full of random craps from festivals, ticket this, krait key that, potion for this map, that map. They are annoying to most players

But at the same time ffxiv is the best story ever told :)

I love the core game even the story is still fun for me

100% Bees - you're not crazy.
Your intro says “ over 20,000 hours” how many hours are you at now?
over 20.000
@@Marvin-op7vb 🤣
Core has some of the best maps and worldbuilding in gw2 - this is coming from a relatively new player so it's not 2012 nostalgia talking
I'd like to see them do a hard mode with the same core map in same Hearts but do it in a hard mode with some extra bonus for completion
Finished my 6th completion yesterday, i think im done with that
I have a lot of the tokens for Hero points from WvW, Is it optimal to spend them on Core Hero Points?
Yes, if you are dreading the manual unlocks.
Doesn't matter much, the price per point is the same. Could argue it's better to do core because it will complete more individual objectives.
Bees are definitely S tier. But I'd pick the 1k ants.
Thanks.
waiting for zero to hero on us servers :) they have lower pop on some key meta events especially not on peak times.

IT IS NOT FAIR. you had already 30% done so it is not 20 hours of gameplay more like 30 hours!

Your inventory is so triggering
Why?
@@MrQuay03 you didn’t see his inventory? Lol nvm bud you obviously don’t understand the joke
@@gunnarfraser1596 it's not his fault, it's Anet's fault. They give you shit load of boxes and random unsellable craps
