    Solid video. My 32" TCL Roku TV was hooked up to my computer and I was using the TV's speakers when one day they just didn't sound right. All I had to do was pull the plug while it was on and wait 30 seconds before plugging it back in. AC/DC Thunderstruck passed the test. Thumbs up my man.

    I rarely ever comment on this app, but i had to leave a note here. I tried everything, even taking the remote apart, and it didn't work. Reset tv audio following the steps here fixed it. Thank you so much.

    Oh thank you so much....My 81 year old Father-in-law's volume was out on his Roku TV this morning and he don't see very well and all he enjoys is his TV, so again Thanks!!!! The second reset worked for us👍

    Hey I can't believe this worked. The 1st option would not do what was shown in video. Simply unplugging and restarting TV was so simple. My daughter was going to buy a new bedroom TV but no need now. Thank you!!

    The audio on my roku TCL tv suddenly became tinny after I 'blasted' the volume up to 37, and I thought I'd broken my speakers. I followed your vid advice and just restarting my tv, following your tip #1 instructions, it fixed the problem. TY so much for putting out this vid, for the help! ❤

    Wow where were you about three weeks ago. I had no sound and it took me hours to finally figure it out! I finally got my sound back after I reset audio and picture settings. Thanks for posting this though. If it ever happens again, and I forget what I did, I'll just watch your video!

    Our TCL keeps losing sound every once and a while. The question is why does this keep happening for everyone.

      I think it might have something to do with leaving the tv on when its idle idk

      If you go to BBB you will see ALL the complaints about TCL brand Roku TVs. Go to any channel app or cable channel. Press the * and scroll down to Volume mode. What do you have it set to? The only thing it can be set to is "off". There is something wrong with the "leveling or night mode". Leveling is what I like as all channels will have the same volume. Otherwise, when my channel goes to a commercial it will be blaring. Night mode I believe makes the volume lower. Now, I did do what this man shows us and "leveling mode" seems to be working now and the sound is crisper. If it doesn't work I will know fairly soon, as the volume will cut out, or make a terrible sound where I have to mute the tv and change the mode back to "normal mode". This issue is what you will see on the BBB. It happens about a month after the warranty ends. I would NOT recommend this brand Roku Tv to anyone. Good luck.

    Thanks for your help. My tv wouldn’t unmute for a few days so I’ve been forced to listen through the Roku app until something said “go to RUclips”. The “reset TV audio” option worked for me. Much appreciated.

    Also if anyone is wondering the “secret code” also works on any other tv with the Roku remote. For example my tv is 10 years old and the code still works.

    I knew my audio was working because it would click every time I moved the icon or selcted something. Just didn't stream audio at all. The first option worked for mine

    Omg thank you! My Roku speakers stopped working yesterday. My TCL couldn't see them anymore. I tried everything that Roku suggested. Rebooting the TCL fixed the problem!

    Thank you. Over the weekend, the speech was delayed from the CC, then the echoing began. Then intermittent audio. Unplugged the Roku (old) unit overnight. Looked up this issue, found you and first time, it reset. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! (The audio on TV itself worked fine as it was perfect using antenna tv.)

    Dude, you’re the bomb! Your code worked even though it wasn’t a Roku TV per se. It’s a Sceptre with an inexpensive Roku device from Walmart. Thanks!
