Would it be okay if I made the crust today and the rest tomorrow or should I make everything in the same day? Also do I put it in the fridge after everything is assembled or keep it at room temp? (I live in hot socal)
Hi! I hope the tart is a huge hit with everyone! Yes, you can make the crust separately and keep it stored at room temperature. You can also make the chocolate caramel sauce ahead of time, then assemble everything tomorrow. Enjoy!

@@candacejay1029 You're welcome! Keep the caramel sauce at room temperature and it shouldn't set completely. If it does become too thick to spread, you can reheat it over low heat.
That's happened to me, too. It's because the cream is too cold and it causes the caramel to seize. Keep the caramel sauce on the heat and add warm cream. That will help significantly :)

Hmm, I wonder if the sugar granules were from the caramel sauce? Make sure you don't stir the sugar when cooking the caramel.
