This was such a great movie. Amazing job on the locations. You never leave anything out. Great vid as always man 😎👍👍
Thanks! I like noticing all the weird little details 😄
Fantastic video! Great work as always.
Loved Turner and Hooch as a kid. Your videos are great by the way, your a natural for this stuff and deserve more recognition. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great to see you back, Stanley! My personal fav and first vid I ever saw and then subscribed to your channel was The Rocketeer!🤘👏
Thanks! I will be going back to LA to see Peavey house and other Rocketeer things! I haven’t forgot about that!!
@@StanleyFoss I can't wait!! 😊
I love turner and hooch fantastic film many years ago when I was at school you were allowed to take a film into school to watch at the end of term out of all of the film's everyone took into school they chose turner and hooch to watch great days and a great video well done really enjoyed it 👍
That’s a great memory! I hope the newer generations find Turner and Hooch 👍🏻
@@StanleyFoss definitely 👍
Loved this. One of my favorite movies but how did i not know it was filmed in Pacific Grove?! That was awesome to learn. Thanks for another fun and informative video!!
Yeah, they even show Peppers in it lol
@@StanleyFoss yep i loved seeing that!!
You do a real good job with these match-ups and music and narration! More entertaining than most! Tell your boss to give you a little more time off!
Thanks! I finally have more time off 😅
Loved this filming location review. ✨✨ Truly entertaining, great added actions and I enjoyed the small puns.
Lol thank you! Was fun making. People in town thought I was crazy 😆
Your videos are awesome. You do such a good job. I've never even seen the movie (blasphemy!), and I still love your storytelling and videos. :)
Thanks! It’s not bad, the best scenes are with Hanks and Hooch 👍🏻
My favorite movie and a place I once lived close to my heart . Very through job !!!
Thanks! Yeah PG is a great little town 👍🏻
Turner and Hooch was filmed while I was stationed there (Ft. Ord) but I had forgotten until this video. This guy does great videos.
Thanks! Remnants of the old fort Ord still remain .
Hey Stanley ! I was wondering , when you would upload again ! Your videos are always worth the wait ! I need to see this movie ! Also, this town is so picture perfect. Excellent video, as always 😌
Thanks, it’s been so difficult lately trying to find any time to make a video.
Yes pacific grove is called ‘America’s Last Hometown’ and ‘Butterfly town USA’ because of all the monarchs that arrive there each year. Very picturesque!
Glad I discovered your channel a while back. Keep plugging away and hopefully one day you’ll be making RUclips videos as your main source of income. No more employer leash!
That would be awesome! That’s the dream 👍🏻
Your back !! Finally ! Keep up the awesome content .
Thank you sir ! More content on the way 👍🏻
great video, this deserves way more views. love the movie and Pacific Grove looks like such a nice little town
Thanks! Yes you would love pacific grove if you ever get to visit 👍🏻
You’re back!!! Missed you!!! Glad to see that you’re back making amazing videos Stanley 🙌
I’m back lol! Thank you!! - it won’t be three months between videos anymore … I should have more free time now 👍🏻
@@StanleyFoss you’re welcome! Great to hear that! 👏🏻🎥
I still cry at the end of the movie to this day.
I lived on 10th street when this movie was being filmed just a half a block away from my house. I remember them filming
That’s so cool you got to see it in real life 😃
I thought I was the only one that loved this film.
It’s kind of a forgotten film. Hopefully it gets more popular
Good job finding and filming those locations in a short amount of time, Stanley! I thought you were going to say that you looked for pine cones on Pine Cone Beach but couldn't find any. The scene where they are walking on the beach with the large rocks looks like Carmel Meadows which is next to Point Lobos.
Thanks! Ahh I should have thought of that! See you need to join me sometime on one of these locations!
@@StanleyFoss I'll try to join you. Hopefully somewhat soon.
I would to love watch the filming locations for the 1994,film The Little Rascals. The places where the cart race took place.🙌🎬🎥📽️
That’s a good idea 👍🏻
Ha! As my husband and I were on that path and cliff (in the beginning of this clip), we were getting married--just us, a Justice of the Peace, and a passing jogger who became our witness (we didn't know we needed one). We kept running into the Turner and Hooch filming crew. First in town, we saw Tom Hanks and Hooch. Then, passing us, again and again, as we were getting married.
Because the jogger was also our photographer (he took photos of our feet), I have more, and better, photos of Hooch.
That is so cool! What luck that you were there during the filming of the movie. And you got pictures of Hooch! Haha, that’s great. Thanks for sharing!
I began to cry when hooch died in the end. It was saddening.
I know, so sad - at least they had puppies!
Is this a reupload? was wondering why it was taken down. Haven't seen you upload in a while!
The first time I uploaded it, it said that one of the songs which I thought was royalty free was copyrighted music. So I took it down and re-edited in new music … but I’m hearing that some people can’t watch this video for reasons unknown? I haven’t gotten any copyright claims on it?? Very odd .
👍
The kid from the mighty ducks is also in this movie as well. The kid who played Fulton.
Oh I didn’t notice that, cool 👍🏻
@@StanleyFoss Where the kid says that police badge is fake where he found lots of money that’s young Fulton from Mighty Ducks.
His voice sounds different because it was made in 1988 and Mighty Ducks was released in 1992.
@@Mike-gl4wt ahh yeah I see, I need to rewatch Mighty Ducks now
@@StanleyFoss He looks a lot tall and different then Turner and Hooch but you will recognize his face.
yo i saw you helped record for randy and i thought it would funny if you did the amazing world of gumball filming locations i see a lot of meme potential here
Hi there; yeah he told me about that. I had never heard of it, but we’re looking into it . The locations are only about 2.5 hrs away 👍🏻
I love Turner and hooch it was messed up when Hooch died
Yeah, the movie still holds up - but Hooch didn’t have to die 🫣
U never showed the house where he lived?
Yeah, if I remember right you only see a part of the outside of his house at night …and I have a feeling that was filmed on a soundstage? I couldn’t find any information or set pictures from the outside of his place. But maybe I’m wrong??
Tom hanks partnering with one of Chicago's finest cops, Carl Winslow in this comedy.
Haha yes!!
Why was this video blocked?
It’s blocked for you?? So weird? I never got a copyright claim, but a co-worker of mine couldn’t watch it either??? So bizarre, I can’t figure it out? But then later it appeared for my coworker??
Weird. It was blocked in my country
That’s so frustrating, I have no idea why it is doing that???
I know it's been a long time what about Tom Hank's house from the movie??
I’m not sure where that is yet? I’m sure some of the interiors were on a soundstage. If I remember right you only see the outside of the home in the dark?
@@StanleyFoss very true!!
