One thing that really bothers me about the photos app is that when you edit a photo, it saves a copy of the edited photo along side the original. If I want to go back and delete the original, both copies look the same on the thumbnails and it’s hard to distinguish which is which. Samsungs photos and apple photos and most other photo apps save over the original However they give you the option to “save as new” as well if you want to keep the original.

I got "ta-da" sales pitch messages Introducing Wallet; but like most people, I was busy focusing on my tasks, communications & interests, so didn't look into it at the time. I didn't realise this Wallet app meant closing down GPay --- wiping travel card & disabling bank cards!!! Google must assume we all hang on every titbit & word from them. Truth is, most of us just need to function in a high tech world & want our devices & apps etc to serve this need. Surely GPay could've coexisted with Wallet for longer, including internal messaging about the imminent decommission + links & explanations to help non-tech users move their cards & card functionality across to Wallet. This matters when you need to get somewhere on time & can't travel or pay for stuff (oh wait down in the cargo hold of my bag there might be a real plastic bank card somewhere... Phew, yes. But as for the tram..... "Not happy, Google!"
My biggest concern with google wallet is that it doesn't't have a secondary layer of protection. Anyone can tap and purchase whatever, if they a get a hold of your unlocked phone! unlike Apple Pay and Samsung Pay where they ask for password, fingerprint, or face ID
There is a bug for external mics using the Google Camera app on Pixel 6 and Pro. I've used two different mics and there are audio artifacts with both. The issue occurs 90% of the time within 25 seconds of recording in all resolutions and frame rates. It is less prevalent in 1080/30. It does not seem to occur with 3rd party apps like Filmic Pro. I am trying to work with Google on this, but I have a feeling they will eventually want to do a hardware replacement but since it does not occur on 3rd party apps it does not seem to be hardware. Can you verify this issue and use your channel to get some traction on the issue so that it can be addressed by the developers?

I recently went astray and tried to fix something on google account because I kept getting a window that said some files don't download or open. So I was directed to change my Google file to Google.old and reboot. Now I have no bookmarks and other shortcuts. What do I do now?

Exactly like you said they shouldn't have removed the like button on media player. I too use that to quickly add songs to liked playlist which gets automatically downloaded.

@@IDTR The Navigation, and the lack of fingerprint authorization, also the shortcut button disappeared from the lock screen. I'll give it another shot maybe in a few weeks

When you click on save there should be another menu that pops up to Save or Save as Copy.
