Whatever your location is prone to , try to anticipate the basic supplies you might need if that weather event happens or you lose power- drinking water, canned goods, candles/led flashlight etc.

I live where there are severe storms but I accept that because there is abundant water and beautiful scenery. You take the pros and the cons. And if you don’t have the resources to be prepared you definitely shouldn’t attempt mountain living. That’s basically asking for trouble.

Send snow plows and people to help dig out the roads and sidewalks, open the main highways, and let us get down to food since the only market just had it's roof collapse due to the excessive and heavy snow loads. The building stood for 60 years, and the Goodwins supported our little city, and have to rebuild. That will take years. It is a nice community, with a mix of people from new families to seniors who need their medicines, food, water, and assistance. To the morons who post derogatory comments, you are pathetic, no one can plan for this type of natural disaster, it is a 500 year event.

Always stay prepared: propane tank reservoir outside, extra food supplies, medication, tools, radio, snow shovels, gasoline or propane electric generator a must.
