Hi team! 💜 Loooots of products to look at in this one, and I hope you saw something that you liked 😄 Let me know what's on your wishlist! If you want to grab something from Journalsay, you can nab a discount with "jashiicorrin" at checkout 💪 We love savings! 💸 bit.ly/JoSaxJC
I'm glad you opened my ones for everyone to see! Like I said, you definitely had my permission (yes I am coming back for the replay even though I'm going to be seeing this stuff soon) haha
I’m struggling with finding journal paper that I can use fineliners, water based brush pens, Kuretake dot and stamps on. My previous one bled Kuretake dot but was okay with stamping (I use calendar stamps for habit trackers and images to colour in) so I got one with a higher gsm which is fine with Kuretake dot but for some odd reason bleeds badly when I put any pen over the stamping (Kuretake dot or water based brush pens) 😢
I placed an order last week and got a tracking number right away, but the tracking number isn't working yet. Keeps erroring to Australia post when I'm in the USA lol. One week to the day. Figure I'll give it a few more days before I ask for help :) might just be a delay from the summer sale but they do say to wait at least 3 days for the tracking to start to work, for those wondering about shipping.
Japanese, Chinese, and Korean are very similar because the Japanese stole (sorry, borrowed) written parts of their language from China and what used to be Korea. Their language was mostly spoken aloud prior to introducing written Kanji. Hence why some characters look alike or are essentially the same with different pronunciations (think Ai and Ai same character both meaning love but in two separate languages). There are also various ways to read each individual character depending on where they are in the word (when there are multiple kanji to make one larger word, like hanamizu "snot" or ikebana flower arranging.) Its also interesting to see different characters that are said the same like hashi "bridge" or hashi "chopsticks" or hana as mentioned above (one character is nose another meaning flower). Sorry, my focus was foreign languages in school, so I'm a bit of a word dork.
Haha all good! I think that's the part that confused me about kanji the most 😝 different pronunciations depending on the word. Though I suppose that English does that same 😅 read vs read, live vs live, etc.
@JashiiCorrin and then there's English UK, English AU, and English US with all our slang, pronunciations and spelling variations... and spanish variants... interesting, thx @futoijosei
I LOVE the letters, so happy I got them all. lol. That "take all 6" thing they have will ruin me. I'll use the letters ass First letters of a paragraph or poem possibly, so it's fine that they are different sizes. My bill for journalsay the past three months are more than my rent. Insane shop. Insane.
I feel like the red rose stickers with the gold foiling could go well with the Alice in Wonderland red heart tapes for a theme.... Oh you just said no because of the foiling. Too bad. :( because I'm the same way with the foiling.
You talking about having 50 tabs open is exactly the reason I couldn't buy more stickers, I felt dizzy, too many options often make me pass on things 😅
Yeah one thing about the many tabs open that I appreciated is that it helped desensitise me to all of the pretty things 😝 at least enough that I didn’t buy anywhere near as much as I had open initially 👌
I personally don't find it too difficult. Though I would recommend a smaller pair of scissors, not the ones you'd find in like the junk drawer of a kitchen. Larger siccors work fine if the designs are far enough apart though.
The thumbnail definitely made me quite sus haha xD I'm fairly certain the sticker books, the PET sticker packs and a lot of the tapes with women are all AI generated. I don't blame anyone for buying them because they're sooo pretty, but as an artist it makes me a little bit sad haha. I hope AI won't take over everything!

A lot of their products appear to use ai art which is disappointing

Haha if you come to Bujo We----Tuesday this week, you can have your stash 😈
I use those calendar stamps all the time! Saves me so much time!
The black and gold letter stickers look 3d because of the detail! Beautiful.
I have those same stamps. I use it for a year at a glance and use white out to cover the 31 for 30 day months (post stamping)

I think k the mermaid stickers would be great for a MER-May setup.

Great items, I've tried them...but for me I prefer Soto Studios, basically the same items.
these stickers are so beautiful 😊😊
We nabbed a great stash 😄💜
My favorites are probably the ticket packet of stickers.

japanese, chinese & korean are all beautiful languages, even more beautiful when they are written
Cow would work in an ice-cream spread. Christina 🦝
Great haul, thanks for sharing. ❤❤
Glad you liked it! 😄💜

Dang you, Jess! I just spent the last I don’t even know how many hours scrolling 70 pages of Journalsay. 🤪 And my cart is very full. 😂
Sorry! 😂💜
@@JashiiCorrin 🤣 now my daughter is having a turn. 😬💸💸💸

The fashion lady in the London stickers reminds me of "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?"
Haha I can see that 😝💜
I've noticed the same thing with ordering papers from Journalsay and the colors being slightly muted or less saturated than the picture suggested.
Yeah it's a bit of a shame for those designs that you want to be a bit more punchy, but okay for subdued papers 😊
It looks difficult to cut individual pieces with pet tapes. Is that the case or does it only look so?
I personally don't find it too difficult. Though I would recommend a smaller pair of scissors, not the ones you'd find in like the junk drawer of a kitchen. Larger siccors work fine if the designs are far enough apart though.
Yep, better when the words are not readable. The first words I saw on the french one was "pour maigrir" which literally means "[How] to lose weight" 😅
I’ll use it in the health journal 😂
Pretty sure 1:14:00 is Levi from AOT 😂
Haha I can see that, yeah! 💜

I can understand that. Probably a similar feeling to how I get with Instagram when they introduced Reels as the major post type 😝💜
@@JashiiCorrin I wasnt very happy about that either haha!
