Oh no, I slipped and fell and accidentally placed my first ever Stationery Pal order ... oh! I now need to put myself on a strict no-buy ban for the next few months, oops! :D loved the video, so inspiring!
I think daily journaling is intimidating to a lot of us. I started watching Heba on My Little Journal. She is great! She just journals about her day, and doesn't feel it all has to be deep, meaningful thoughts; and no pressure to "fill the page". I recently started daily journaling. Sometimes it will include thoughts and feelings and sometimes it's just mundane daily things. Yesterday I had a Zoom meeting and it was the first time I was on camera. I was nervous so I wrote a little about that. Then I cleaned, went to the grocery store, and walked the dogs. I write, but I also use stickers, stencils, acrylic stamps, washi, etc.... I just use a dated daily planner I picked up at Staples.
Thank you for your insight! Yeah I think I just need to stop feeling that pressure and start by writing down how I'm feeling in that moment or maybe in search for journal prompts to guide me. I'll check out My Little Journal as well! 🤍
For daily journaling I use a Hobonichi A6! There are ones that have a page for every single day. I usually hate planners/notebooks that have design and ruling in them but I found that trying to do daily pages in a regular dotted notebook was a bit harder for me mentally to keep up. It's easier when there are dates in the book already. Or, instead of writing a full page for every single day you could just start your next entry right under.
the way I combat that blank page paralysis is by setting up a double page spread in advance. I usually pick a theme and then decorate the borders of the pages with washi tape/stickers etc. Then I want to write on the pretty pages! I also keep a consistent format to start an entry (a black line and the date) so that I can easily delineate between entries and don't feel like an entry needs to take up the whole page. I know when I see _________________________ 20/02/24 that means a new entry and I can just brain dump whatever I need to, in whatever form that takes, whether it's a brain map, a line or two, or 2.33 pages of text.
That was a great haul. Enjoy your fountain pen. May I suggest you also look into dip pens and different inks, such as Ferris Wheel Press. Not only can you write with them, but also draw, decorate, etc.
I picked up so many Gelly Roll pens today in part because I saw you use them in your Feb setup. The gray set are so pretty in person! I can’t wait for my black paper STM notebook to get here so I can use them on darker paper.
@@savannahscribbles I searched them in my swatch journal and if they pop like this on white paper, I KNOW they’re gonna look amazing on black paper! Can’t wait to see what you create with them!!

Inspiring video for me. I am absolutely a 63 year old beginner in Journaling 😂😂 I know it's late in life, maybe too old. Still, I subscribed and will be ordering some supplies. The brush pens are intreaging.
Girrrl if you want to dip your pen tip over to the daily planner journal space you’d be sooo welcome 🤗 and We’d love to see the weekly spreads you come up with in that realm ~ if and when you feel it is right
@@savannahscribbles I feel like they don’t stay put in regular books properly for some reason, like the magnet isn’t strong enough for the thicker paper or something lol.

I'll definitely consider filming a video about it once i've dabbled 🤭
what a good haul, I love it ☺☺☺
Thank you! 😊
I only like magnetic bookmarks for my journal and planner. For some reason I just feel like they don’t work as well on book pages lol.
Right!? I feel like i'm destroying the book page 😅😅

love hauls ❤
me too 🤗
The graph sticky notes would have been useful in math class. Way easier than eyeballing all my graphs and number lines
