@@king_jamz916 Since when? They could have EASILY sent him with Barns to any other team. Brown likes him and, when he was healthy, praised him all season long on his improvement on the defensive end. There’s every chance he stays.

I’m a huge Sacramento Kings fan. Born and raised and still live here. I’m very happy the Kings were not stagnant this off season. We got a deal done with someone. Signed Coach, Malik Monk, and now DeRozan! That is big for us and gives us a great chance to win the division and get back to the playoff picture.

I just got back from the summer league game where the kings summer league team defeated team China, and also that same day DeMar had a meeting with the kings and he sat court side next kings owner Vivek Ranadive and De’Aaron Fox they all took a picture together and DeMar seems to be happy to be a Sacramento King, I am a kings fan and personally I love the trade for Sacramento he should fit nicely along side De’Aaron and Domas

I feel like we still have too many guards. I guess Kevin Huerter could play a small forward position and come off the bench for DeRozan, but having a starting five that consists of Fox, Monk, DeRozen, Murray and Sabonis, is outright lethal

Now the kings will be competitive especially against the warriors, Lakers, Denver etc. We liked Harrison, and Duarte, but Harrison was good during the regular games, was a no show when it counted during the playoffs. This is exactly what the kings needed!

I honestly expected the Bulls were gonna let DeMar walk for nothing but I’m glad they didn’t. Is it the best return? No but it’s not bad either. Duarte, two 2nd round picks and cash is solid for a player who is 34 and could’ve walked for nothing.
I’m very happy DeMar is on a winning team now. He made watching the Bulls fun with his game winners and 4th quarter comebacks. I wish him the best in Sacramento.

How? It would appear Pop & the spurs are getting other teams drafts picks as they believe theirs will be low value for trades. I’d be worried about the spurs and expect to see them get better every season.

The bulls didn’t want to have to take salary back in the trade, so the spurs take Barnes for the salary to match for DeRozan coming in and they got unprotected pick swap which is what they wanted to take on the salary for the kings and then the Bulls get less salary coming back into their books, basically meaning they get cheaper.
