Since coming to Sacramento, Monte, Wes & co. acquired Sabonis who willingly extended his contract, brought in Mike Brown, a highly respected and accomplished head coach, re-signed a sought after free agent in Monk, and now acquired a top tier NBA mainstay in DeRozan. This is the type of talent that would never look Sacramento's way before or view it as anything other than an undesirable NBA outpost that they couldn't wait to leave to wherever the grass was greener. You may not always like their patient and measured approach, but put some respect on the green grass this front office has created for this organization and quit hating, they know what they're doing.

I’m a golden state fan but I enjoy watching demars game. Might have to head up north and catch some more sac games live. The past 3 years I’ve watched him play in person in both SF and Sac when the bulls came to NorCal, can’t wait to watch him play whenever I get the chance this season!

We need to make this run to the western finals man. I know it’s gonna be tough and the conference is stacked but outside of maybe 2-3 other teams I don’t see anyone better than us on paper. I think we are also gonna see Fox like we’ve never seen him.

I had tickets to the first game that Sabonis played in Sac (vs Twolves). The crowd was absolutely raucous, chanting his name, etc. I was lucky enough to be sitting pretty close to the court, and I saw Domantas remarking to a teammate “It’s so loud in here!”. Was really cool to see.
Looking forward to DeMar joining the team, and I am sure the Kings fans will make it real fun for him to play here.

Spurs fan here… Demar was so good for us. He ALWAYS brings his A-game. And I know this gonna sound silly, but he is so skilled. All NBA players are skilled, I know, but his ball handling, his IQ, his underrated footwork, his vision, strong finishing at the rim, his unparalleled midrange - it really stands out. He’s elite, and we loved having him. Wish nothing but the best for Demar, take care of him SAC Town.
Many people might forget that he was a vital piece of why the Raptors became a perennial playoff team before he got traded to the Spurs and now he could be part of making the Kings such a team just like in his years in Toronto, of course this time around the load is going to be much taken off of him unlike back then.
