I was expecting 2-3 seconds but that was huge..keep doing such amazing videos wanna see your channel become big...
Old hards vs fresh softs explains 2-3 seconds, plus there is no DRS in the race and the drivers are harvesting electric energy as well. I don't think there was too much tire management.
this video shows how much better is 1-4 laps old soft than 33 laps old hard tires. plus qualifying they will only put low fuel and race still have half tank of fuel to complete the race = more weight means slower car
Can you do with the fastest lap?
Yeah, this would be a much better comparison than comparing qualy to 33 lap old hards that are about to explode
Done.
This is one of the things I hate about modern F1, I want to see the drivers pushing the limits
No car is going to last +50 laps at qualy pace
They used to?
@@marktucker208 You would have to lower the qualy pace to make it equal yo the race pace, there’s no other way around
@@413XUIFC drivers literally used to very frequently have a faster fastest lap in the race then in quali. They were pushing at 95-100% for the entire race. This was when we had grooved tyres in the 2000s. It was even worse in 1998-2000 before traction control when the cars were ridiculously twitchy and nervous. And hour and a half in the race of constantly correcting the car
Yeah pushing the limits on 33 lap old hard tires. Don’t be dumb
