It wasn't until I noticed the sharpness of the "8" in the steering wheel and then the lack of motion blur that I realized that this is gameplay. Holy crap, this game is amazing.
I noticed the wing mirrors are set for the camera above the driver's head not the driver.

@@cheekiverseyt2727 nope, is the Turbo Anti-Lag system. the blown defuser was only a V8 era thing and got banned in 2013.
The reaction at 4 minutes is amazing, oversteer at 288kph.

@@javieracosta4060Drag Reduction System. Usually in F1, after the first 2 laps if the driver is 1 second behind another, there are certain zones on the track where the rear wing will open up. It allows for more top speed because of the reduced drag and promotes overtaking. However in practice and qualifying DRS can be used in the zones at any time
I thought it was, it says so on the screen.
@@smrtgy723 Nordschleife doesn’t have designated DRS zones since it’s not an actual F1 track. The DRS indicator on the gauge display would illuminate if DRS were active. Besides, as bumpy as the final straight is, DRS being activated might not go too well lol

Great, I believed it and almost threw Assetto Corsa away because I realized how far I was from such a performance... until I read the comments, and then I smiled again.
The only thing that seems realistic to me is the impression of speed in Tcam, I can't even imagine the much lower cockpit view... and the superhuman reflexes you'd need to drive like that.

he has stability help on 100% - you can see it when he loses the rear
@@marble25 ah that's why , honestly I was shocked at how well he did it , i thought he did it without stability, besides I have played without stability most of the time and it's quite delicate to fishtail the back lol

@@lynpendry Pretty sure it's the 2nd most dangerous track in the world after isle of man lol. Actually is the most dangerous track in terms of numbers, tho isle of man is most likely more dangerous anyways.

The speed the downforce. I love it! I know the 919 evo is faster but that car was made without any regulation what so ever f1 cars are made under really strict condition and it’s so unbelievably fast
It’s true, but the open cockpit cars are soooo much more fun. My fav (usually) is the McLaren # 12 MP4/4. The unrestricted one with 826hp. Also the Benz Sauber C9 is a beast.
If they wanted to push the limits of a formula 1 car it would obviously beat the 919 evo.
I didnt realise this was fake until i realised how clear the camera quality was. It would be vibrating a whole lot more.

So it would be a 5:05 judging the start of the clip and ending in the exact spot where it began. The record of Porsche LMP1 prototype could be smashed in an F1 car today I guess.

there are parts where max drives 50kph faster in his f1. and yet the f1 chassi has to be set super high for this track. in other words the f1 down force potential is way better. tires could be different but im sure both drove on full race slick.
Not to mention, the LMP lap was close to perfect, this lap still has mistakes that can be corrected for maybe a second or so more
@@redlinegamerrgk2059 a second? There is at least 10 seconds of upside here, just by tweaking setup and driving more optimal. He drove insanely well, don't get me wrong, but the sheer length of the track makes it nearly impossible to drive even close to perfect for an entire round.

Squint looks real... Reckon you could shave 5 to 7 seconds off that lap time. Wish I had this platform to try this on. I've a rubbish game but can throw an F1 down the Nordschliefe in 4m43s.

Incredible Verstappen. Most of the critical NORDSCHLEIFE corners are straight for F1, full throttle.

Faultless , a very fast and calculated Lap!!!
Def mistakes but only about 1 to 2 seconds lost to mistakes that I saw. Considering the number times he bounced around a little.. I doubt he wanted to try it too many times. Very dangerous going flat out in a f1 car. The wall is going as fast as you are and it doesn't move lol 💀
@@christophermullins7163could probably shave 6-7 seconds off this if he was sittning down for an hour and learning but its so hard to perfect a 4+ minute track
@@lynpendry I have put in a good 1000 laps over the years on the simulator.. that lap is seriously impressive.. imo there isn't much to gain but what do I know.. it could be possible that he looks faster than he is. Nurb is truly a masterpiece and one of the most rewarding tracks to complete a decent lap on. Just beautiful. 💕 😘 ❤️
