Realistically this isn't for scientific use. Its aesthetic. And the butterfly probably was killed before being shipped to her rather than dying naturally. I have no issue with what she's doing, but I don't think it's helpful to spread misinformation.
@@gen_genelle the thing with that is that a captive breeding program that supports reintroduction isn't the same as one focused on it. There's plenty of farms that will release some of their animals but are still primarily profit driven. Given that some of these butterfly's are not ones that require conservation that's why I suspect these are coming from for profit farms. Also these butterfly's are native all around the world. Programs that focus purely on reintroduction tend to be smaller, local, and specialised. That's a lot of contacts she's got that are willing to ship individual butterflys to her from parts of the world it's very expensive to ship from. Also a lot of the time they will all be speaking different languages so that's an extra barrier to it. However a for profit farm can be localised to one spot, have a wide array of butterfly and when they do any reintroduction generally will ship them as eggs, caterpillars or chrysalis in large numbers since that's the cheapest and easiest way to ship this kind of animal. Depending on how unscrupulous they are they may also just ship them release them approximately in the right area rather than have them taken all the way to the habitat they need. Finally adding insects isn't the best way to help their populations. The ones she handles that are threatened the problem is habitat loss, so just adding more butterfly's doesn't help.

@@Albinojackrussel in some videos she clearly says it’s from breeding programs and die naturally so they get sent to her.
