Pork belly is just unsliced, unsmoked bacon - basically a heart attack on a plate - but, boy, does that look delicious! I can smell it cooking right through the computer screen! :-D

It's actually $2.50, $5, and $7.5 for a small (100g), medium (200g), and large (300g) respectively. From the picture in the menu, a full cup is the large, so the pork belly serving shown is $7.50

Clearly you are unfamiliar with Samgyeopsal. I'll grant its usually done at your table rather than from a street vendor (at least what I experienced there) but efficiency is not really of concern. I'll also warrant the average Korean street food vendor could give two shits about classically trained sous-chefs

우와 1인분에 2800원인 철판 삼겹살 가게가 있다는 것이 정말 신기합니다. 영상도 잘 찍어주셔서 그런지 밥먹은지 얼마 안지났는데도 또 배가 고프네요. 영상으로 볼땐 고기도 정말 좋아보이는데 꼭 한번 가보고 싶습니다. 좋은 가게 소개해주셔서 감사합니다~
저 많은 고기 기름이 한 방에 쭉 나올 때 바로 밑에다가 신김치 쫙 펼쳐놔야 하는데
그리고 그 밑에다가 팽이버섯이나 새송이 버섯을 놓아둔다면.. 참 맛있을텐데 말이죠.

In my country...we marinade the meat overnite...salt.pepper, soy sauce. Garlic & ginger, chives, hot peppers, thyme & chadon beni.

At no point do I see amazing skills. Unseasoned pork belly with a dipping sauce. I am sure it goes well with kimchi and beer. Disappointed at the end of the video to discover it's just crisp pork belly. Thank you for sharing anyway.

Yes you did and I did too.. We cook a lot of pork belly and Korean BBQ is pretty amazing but it has a lot of American influence behind it if you look at its history and how its evolved since the Korean war. Rub House #17 is the spice we use along with the #5 they blend. Just saying !.. Check out some Filipino BBQ too Fredy, They do some pretty cool things and tricks and also influenced by American BBQ.

Koreans don't typically season pork belly however you could use a sauce for it
Judy Franklyn after the pork is cooked, Koreans dip the pork with sesame seed oil with salt, wrap it with lettuce, add their pickled veg (onion, peppers, etc), fermented soy bean paste, and chili paste (optional). It’s pretty tasty and good drinking food.

Actually if I were cooking sam gyup sal (basically bacon in Korean), Korean grocery stores usually sell them thinner than what's shown on video. I do add pepper only while cooking, but most don't use it because we use something called ssamjang to dip into for sauce. But for some reason, I like it with pepper. *shrugs*
