where are the drum beats coming from? Can't tell if you're triggering them on the 404 along with the samples or if there in the background coming from your computer or edited over the top. great stuff none-the-less.

I've got the same setup as you (turntable, mpc2000xl and sp404og no sx, anyway), and i've got some trouble hearing my mpc going thru the sp. When i play a vinyl or when the sound come from my daw, and going thru the sp it works. When i play a beat from the mpc, it doesnt work. EXT SOURCE active and the knob CTRL3 up... I don't understand, if you've got an idea that can help me it would be awesome. Peace man
