Hey man not sure if you're aware but shift+note variation when on start or end in trim moves cursor way faster than data wheel, definitely save you time chopping samples
alright I have the mpc2000xl what exactly do I need to be able to hear my mpc ik I need cables, speakers obviously but is there anything else I need?? thank you
I’m just beginning to use my MPC after 10 years after working on an ASR X Pro. Looking forward to learning it, but it’s been a headache learning it thus far
Sorry to be pedantic but a SCSI was always pronounced "Skuzzy" ;) A 52 pin channel that was common in the 90's but now so archaic and expensive for what it is. Mine has the inner cords exposed into my zip drive. Nice vid.
What would the note variation slider be used for? Also how would you connect KRK monitors to an MPC 2000xl and is there stand alone sound without monitors?
+Dondre Dior You can use it to shift start/end points in the trim screen. You need speakers or headphones to hear; they can connect directly into the MPC.
Nicholas Snipes yes sir, I've owned a mpc 200 for years still have it.. yes to answer your question you need midi cables to lock in/sync your tracks or other sequences in the same programs etc
This 1 definitely works? How does it connect if it is a USB? I just bought an Adoniks CF and multi card reader and I can't get it to work. The software is updated and everything. A point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated
for speakers you would need a mixer. Otherwise headphones will do the job. You do not need an interface to use this machine. Just load up your samples and your good to go. It has a great feel and is a great machine.
My 19 year old wants to get in beat making yeah. I bought him MPC 2000 and found your tutorial. 🙏🏽
