@@pack7961 I agree, I've had it crafted for a year, I'm just saying that Ol Rick wasn't in fact mentioning this roll.
I hope people understand that multiple scorches are not applied. Every person on the team adds stacks to that single instance of scorch and ignition. It won't be 6 instances of scorch and 6 ignitions, it will be faster stacking and ignition of that 1 instance. The damage numbers per player will vary widely based on who got the ignition damage. It will be really good but not quite as busted as people think it will be.
You forget Twilight oath solar sniper rifle , it can drop with envious assassin and precision instrument
I deleted that role to make vault space since there were no sniper mods or enhancements at the start 😢
I'm trash with snipers on controler so only Whisper for DPS on bosses would be viable

For legendarys i think is worth mentioning the " Last Foray" and "The Domino" both are world drops right now but if you get lucky enough to get a good roll on it Act 2 is the time to test them.
Domino his pretty hard. I was running it with succession in kinetic slot doing legendary lightfall campaign and domino made succession look like a joke. Definitely worth looking at the data on that one.

The FWC sniper this season is also a really good solar sniper. I’m a PvPer but have a subsistence incandescent roll not to mention it has Nadir Focus and can easily reach a 7 round mag. Also can be enhanced. It’s partially because one of my favorite snipers for PvP is Persuader and it’s the same model but a different fire rate. The thing cooks(literally)
I get those rolls all the time nothing hard about getting that roll it depends on if you have a life ,family

Another solar rapid fire sniper is Twilight Oath it can get envious with presion instrument, vorpal or highground. It might be one of the better ones to be honest.
If you just returned a couple months ago to destiny is the ikelos sniper possible to even get red borders for? Or just farm the weapon in general? Looks like it was in season of the seraph long before I came back.
you can farm it in the seraph's shield exotic mission and lucky enough that's the farmable exotic mission for next week when act II drops! hope this helps!

I know it’s not solar but the supremacy could still get that stacking damaging bonuses perk I believe. If so, that will be my go to pve sniper even more.

Great video, very helpful. I don't have all the snipers you talk about (not really a fan of them) but found six solars in my inventory. Hadn't shot any of them for awhile and wanted to see which one I liked best. So, I went to Europa for a few minutes to try them out. My experience there made me wish Destiny had a shooting range where you could go to try old and new stuff and do your own comparison of different weapons. The range would let you choose your targets, set your distance, and provide unlimited ammo. On Europe, I continually ran out of ammo and had do other activities just to get enough green bricks for my comparison.

Will the scorch and ignition stuff also work for solar snipers in PVP ?
@KackisHD You left off Twilight Oath roll of envious assassin/precision instrument and Last Foray (farmable in Master Lost sectors rotation) enivious assassin/ Focused Fury or Cascade Point. I have all these rolls as I'm a horder and keep a bunch of weapons that could be good when META changes. Its my FOMO complex. Keep up the great work and glad your feeling better man.

The exotic that nobody seems to want to talk about is the Borealis. It's a great option, especially since it has all three light elements. Sure, it takes an exotic slot, and it doesn't hit as hard as the wisper, but its versatility makes it underrated, in my opinion. This is a time when it can shine
No point in borealis when still hunt exists when it comes to pve

Your damage numbers will actually be better than most of the team. Only 1 instance of scorch is applied stacking to 1 ignition at a time. Not everyone gets their own scorch and ignition.
It was pretty accessible, some of the quests are RIDICULOUS.
I had that very Tumulus roll for years, but eventually it hit the chopping block to make room. If only I knew that there would be a Season of the Solar Sniper... Oh well, hardly a blunder compared to dismantling my god rolled Celestial Nighthawk and Foetracer, mostly the former. Oh well, I don't play a Hunter very much, anyway.
Twilight Oath is an easy one farm.
Think my crafted legendary will be Ikelos SR, and pair it with my crafted Whisper of the Worm.

Is it feeling to anyone else that they nerfed the drop rate of class item drops for the chest farm in the pale heart?
It's completely random. I've had them drop on the first chest I've opened that day all the way to 76 chest before getting a drop. I farmed 32 in about 24 hours before getting one of the ones I wanted. Still haven't got the exact one I want.

How do you get the Ikelos sniper? I only need 1 to craft
It’s a seasonal weapon so keep your eyes peeled on the weekly exotic quest. Pretty sure ikelos weapons drop from operation seraphs shield. Once you get one to drop you either hope it’s a red border or use a deep sight harmonizer on it then collect the pattern. A pain for sure but as far as I know it’s that only way.
