Every time a new update video pops onto my feed I'm so enthused by the fantastic progress being made :)
PS: That Portal-themed N64 is so cool!
I feel the same way.
This is incredible dude. As a massive enjoyer of Portal and Portal 2, I look forward to playing this with my emulator! Props to you for the amazing work!
Thank you. Even through it got struck down. Thank you all the same.
I love the box design. It's really well put together. I only recommend that it keeps getting updated along with the game as the screenshots use the old portal gun and 8 point portals.
For anyone who hasn't heard, Valve had to take this project down. Valve is usually cool when it comes to fan projects, but in this specific case it could lead to Nintendo getting upset because of the use of the Nintendo SDK. Valve had to take it down even if they didn't want to!
so sorry to hear what happened, good luck with everything!
the rom patcher is still up right now. MAKE YOUR BACKUPS NOW PEOPLE, THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE.
Learning from your development adventure on optimization and tweaks has been finomional!! Absolutely great! You're an imaging engineer, James
Have you ever talked to Kaze Emanuar? He‘s a really talented Mario 64 Modder and has basically reprogrammed it‘s entire engine.
Boosting this. He is the optimization king
Problem is that he only does sm64 and the optimized code is hardly understandable for an open source project. I'd like to see a fork called Kaze's portal64 or something, then he can do what he wants with no regard for readability..
Now these points of data make a beautiful line.
And we’re out of beta, we’re releasing on time.
Been following since the beginning. Great work. So sorry to hear about the C&D. Would gladly donate to help fund a port to open source SDK if one exists.
Seriously amazing work and it's great you explain the processes involved too. Thank you!
Your progress is truly a marvel to behold. I really hope you get all the support you need, because it's been a wonderful journey so far. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I feel that.
