One of them battery blowers would allow you to blow out the line from the unit drain. Love the bears toilet paper remark, now I know where it comes from !!!! 😛You sure do get some DIRTY JOBS on coil cleaning !!! 🤮I like the foaming part, gets the nasty stuff !!! Isn't there any maintenance crew or contract so the units filters don't get heavily clogged ??? But it is job security for you. There sure is a lot to know about HVAC with all these kinds of units - roof top - split - wall - package ....etc.... You da knowledgeable man !!!! All thru this video I not once heard you complain or gripe, mark of a true professional - GET THE JOB DONE !!!!! And you do !!!!! Excellent work !!!! On to the next adventure !!!!!!!!! 😋

wow - never knew THAT about p traps on roof air. I think that's my problem. Water leaking down my hall return. Definitely have a huge problem on a humid day. Gunna try it. Not sure I understand the whole process but it's worth a try. Hope I have enough elevation between my ac unit and the roof surface. Thank you.

It always amazes me how mother earth will take everything back that has been stolen from her. When you were cleaning out the drain with the screwdriver the leaves and tree debris just keeps on coming and after we die it will still be coming. That old pallet with cinder blocks has probably been there since the ac units were 1st attached. It's slowly decaying into splinters. Truly amazing.

Big Boy, Michigan original. Our Ludington Big Boy has been closed this year. No Strawberry Pie or Big Boy Burgers. Glad your local operator is spending money to keep his business going and you're there to help with that.

I used drain pads in the condensate drain pans after many years of clearing clogged drains and replacing ceiling tiles for a major small 5 holed steamed burger joint. Never had a clog again!! Of course don't use them if you want to generate work. I even used them in refrigerator drains with great success! Be mindful of the EPDM membrane, saw you drop corner of cover onto it.

love those rheems, some of the nicest rooftop units out there. Only thing I don't like is the location of the evaporator coil. it's a bit of a bear to get at if it needs to be replaced.

I use to do maintenance at a local fast food place back in the 90s. One of my jobs was AC cleaning. Every week I was on the roof rising out the coils and changing the paper filters. Guess those times are gone?

A/C coil units need a pre-filter like a mower's air filter has...that would seem to be easier to clean each year. (or twice a season)

Cottonwood fluff! Plugging up my window units one at a time in southern MI.. Had to hose one out at 11 last night because it was blowing the breaker.. Looked like wet cotton balls coming out the drain hole!

Microchannel condenser coil? Wtf I thought this was a recent decision from carrier.. or do they just decide to throw what ever they have sitting in the factory in units?

Your glove probably blew all the way to Lansing by now. Oh, no. I remember, the winds are out of the west in Michigan. I suspect it's in Sarnia by now.

Get yourself the Milwaukee 18 volt blower. Get all that water out of those micro channels so the head pressure doesn’t sky rocket.

Yeah cuz you wouldn't run up there after rain and blow it out would you This is Michigan for God's sakes the rain can go up down sideways and that's all before 7:00 a.m. in the morning but I got to quit reading these comments I'm getting defensive and I don't even know why Don't even know him...

Carrier has weird numbers a 12 actually means its a 10 ton. A 14 would be a 12 ton. Why they do that......nobody knows.
The lack of preventative maintenance still baffles me. Want to own a business.....but not take care of the HVAC and then they wonder why they have to put in service calls. Thankfully in the heavy commercial side, you don't really see that very much. Lack of maintenance would cost a lot and the equipment would be down for hours if not days.

Geez mister furnace repair dude those guys are just trying to give you neat nifty little ways of fixing everything It's not their fault if they don't know better or they have all the time in the world to try out new things all the time instead of just getting to work done give them a break like right across the shins 🤔🙄😁🤣
