Most people wouldn't fly to Chicago for a mini-vacation during the winter and I'm Black so that's crazy (lol) but I always still enjoy just walking the landscape even during the winter. Nothing Worst than beginning in a Mostly Warm City/State like Texas and others having to Deal with Snow,with people Who Don't Know How To Drive In It /and the City Not Equipped with enough Salt Trucks/Snow Plows... Chicago is my home town now I living 2000 mile away. poor Chicago freeze great Michigan lake.
I walked out onto a frozen Lake Michigan near Adler Planetarium in winter of 1977. Have a snapshot proving it.
Chicago has to be one of the most beautiful cities in the US. The only thing it is missing are nearby mountains. But other than that, it has it all.
I’m so thankful I live down south. 😄

Chicago is still dealing with very cold temperature and weather as well as snow and the cold parts of Lake Michigan if it's frozen.
Here in New York we have to deal with snow and freezing temperatures every year, so.
