- System of a Down, also known by the acronym SOAD and often shortened to System, is an Armenian American rock band from Glendale, California, formed in 1994. It currently consists of Daron Malakian (vocals, guitar), Serj Tankian (lead vocals, occasional keyboards and rhythm guitar), Shavo Odadjian (bass, background vocals) and John Dolmayan (drums).

Best concert of System after their reunion, undoubtedly. Serj sings much better at times, and he's also headbanging a lot. He's in a good mood, unlike now.
Considering the things he was going through at the time, I'm surprised he was still jamming. Let's just say that even at that time he still did amazing considering those facts. But I would still go to a half ass SOAD concert any time. He's getting better though and let's just pray for the guys who are undoubtably the greatest band at least in our generation. At least in their genre, there's no other SOAD and most likely wont ever be. Hopefully there will be, but I'm not too sure, they're one of a kind. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Don't care what you say but this was the best day of my life. Loved system of a down since I was born. And going to this concert and having a t-shirt from this concert is mind blowing.... I can finally die!

Before Hypnotize Daron said, "We'll hypnotize you now". Then after Cigaro he said "I'm sorry" and Shavo said ''you are so clumsy"... :D
I love the fact that the crowd is chanting the lyrics with him... If I could have been there, it would have been the happiest moment in my entire existence.
Shavo's the only one that seems to be enjoying the concert like it was the first one in his life.
And also, if it wasn't for him this would not happen, he's the one keeping SOAD alive.

my brothers friend is a friend of shavo. me my brother and his friend went to his concert and my brothers friend was calling him but he didnt answer, his friend got permission from shavo and was gonna tell my brother that its cool for us to go up to the front.... FML
jesus....it's one incredible song after another...back in 98, I would've sworn that their debut would've been the last decent thing that came from them...that was happening with so many bands back then....these guys really grew in a good way over the years

I was at this show. One of the greatest live shows I have ever seen and one of the best nights of my life.
And those saying that the crowd needs to wake up. You clearly down know how seating works at the Hollywood Bowl.

Great to see the band has gained a lot of momentum through their live performances. About time they started working on a new album.
I was praying they would play Soil at this show - one of my favorites off their self-titled. When 1:06:18 finally hit, I screamed my fucking lungs out in that audience.
Needless to say, that's probably what made me lose my voice the day after.
Thrilling concert, and one I'm going to remember forever - alongside their show at the Forum in 2011.
Dude, I love reliving the beginning of the concert... it's like no other feeling.

Daron has gotten so much better on guitar! Years ago he would've been missing notes and cutting notes short, but this performance was near perfect.
I was lucky enough to be invited to this concert. I almost turned it down! By far one of the best concerts I've been to!

Ah, freaking hollywood bowl, took us over an hour to park. I thought I missed more of the show. But looks like just Aerials. Can't wait till their next show.
