@@xul5042 Exactly.
Most people criticise celebrities because they jump from relationship to relationship. I believe they do it more often than "normal" folks because they have more choice.
I've noticed that most people who win the lottery end up divorcing. It's very similar to a business transaction.

I'm one of the lucky ones, I have learned a very important lesson in my 57 years. You can have everything that money can buy. But if you don't have someone who truly loves you, and wants to spend time with you. It's just glittery, empty toys, and your home is cold and lonely!
I agree. I'm 50, divorced, my girls are 19 and 21 and one is gone the other about to leave. Have a beautiful 4 bedroom house with a huge backyard and a great big tree out front. I ❤ my house, but its going to get so lonely around here soon...
I agree completely. I wouldn't trade my close relationships with the people dearest to me for a billion dollars. I really wouldn't. And I would be embarrassed to display such wealth in a country (the U.S.) where millions of people are literally paid slave wages, 30 million people have no health insurance and can't afford basic health care, and education is disintegrating. Having things never gives a person class, and depending on how one gets wealth, having things can be evidence of no class. There is much more honor and dignity in being an honest, decent, low-paid service worker than in being a billionaire sociopath addicted to money. And when this life ends, love survives but things disappear.
Wise words there mate, well said.
@@TurtleMC1993 Thank you, TurtleMC1993. I imagine that, since you say "mate," you're British or maybe Australian? Well, I think here in the U.S. our equivalent would be "bro," so - thank you, bro!

Im in my 50’s and have learned that my family is my wealth. Yes I have plenty of money but its the relationships I have with my son and grandsons that bring me true joy in life. I’ve been all over the world and my greatest joy is always coming home to my family. Given the choice of attending some super upscale event like an opera or whatever or an evening at home having dinner with my family it’s a no brainier for me lol
When I gave my 5 year old grandson a bicycle for Christmas one year the look on his face and complete astonishment that it was for him is a memory I will hold close to my heart forever. Ask me where I went on vacation 3 years ago and I don’t remember lol. So remember this: family, friends, home and community are what’s important, having money does make life a bit easier and less stressful but its not the be all end all of our existence. 100 years from now my bank won’t remember me but my family will.
You are in your 50-s and you have grandsons?! My parents are near 70-s and they still dont have grandsons or granddaughters..
@@tabularasa9576 always room for those a little less developed than the rest of us!
My sentiments exactly. No point to have money and not spreading some joy with it. I asked my Grandson whether or not he wanted the mattels Tractor and trailor that he could play with on his playroom floor or if he wanted the sit on batterry driven life size version of the same, he looked at me as if I was weird and said " Grandpops that won`t fit in my garage and its too big to push around the floor! He always chooses the small toys never the larger more lavish ones. Kids and family is the real life not things.
Beautifully said. I’m in my late 20’s, I’m chasing wealth because I’d like for my family to be financially secured and would like to be able to dictate my time. However, you are so right, happiness is found in human connections and helping others.
Tbh, I feel most ultrarich people live like they are impervious to death. Having multiple fancy homes only makes sense if you live a very long time indeed.

Most people procrastinate because they're unsure. We over analyze because we're unsure. Just do it anyway. Time costs lives, Most times it amaze me greatly the way I moved from an average lifestyle to earning over $63k per month, utter shock is the word. I have understood a lot in the past few years to doubt that opportunities are bound in the financial markets, The only thing is to know where to focus.
@Dulce de Leche I agree with you and I believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you earn more money, I don’t know who agrees with me but either way I recommend either real estate or crypto and stocks.
@Ma Cherie That won't bother you if you trade with a professional like *Mr Gary Mason Brooks* my coach, you may have come across him on interviews relating to bitcoin. He trades, manage trading account and offer mentorship program for clients who wish to become professional investors.
Wow I can't believe you guys are discussing about *Gary Mason Brooks* , I once met him at a conference in California 2019, just before the pandemic. I can testify that he’s very good in trading..Highly recommended.
@jasonlauu Yes i do, I've known him for couple of years , I'm still using his services , His management team is quite impressive so far.... with my $15,000 deposit, I made over $288,000 profit with just 10% charge.
@Ma Cherie It's 100% safe and legal , He’s an expert trader on stocks and crypto. I basically do nothing but collect profits, he was able to get me in early on most of these stocks and I exited just at the right time, his analysis was really on point.

I grew up in a large estate home as a kid and young adult. Very rich miserable parents. They had everything and hated each other and we knew it. Keeping the home clean was torture. My parents stoppped the housekeeper once I became a teenager. I became the housekeeper. My brother was the pool boy. We had white carpet throughout one wing of the house which was a high traffic area. I felt like Cinderella cleaning it all the time. Granted being the housekeeper built character and instilled a great work ethic in me. I never took my good life for granted.
They gave us daughters great education but did not teach us financial literacy. Only my brother got that privilege as he was set to inherit it all. Unfortunately when my father retired and handed the family business to my brother it was wreck. Back taxes, shady business deals, you name it. The skeletons came out of the closet on my father's "successful" life and my brother is in debt to his eyeballs as a result. Now father lives alone in that estate his wife divorced him after 40 yrs marriag. No one wants anything to do with him. Such is life. I hope it was worth it to him.

You're right, the proportions are entirely wrong. One would've thought they would have commissioned an architect who actually had a proper understanding of Classical architecture.
I agree, it was bland! The windows were dated, didn't capture the views.....
I agree with youu
Lol... nobody said they had to be in 'good taste', of lasting quality, beauty or utility! They are speaking solely in terms of the perceived material value of the property, its placement and/or 'amenities' it has to offer, etc! As stated, these are 'investments', *not* homes!
Besides, I haven't really seen too many designs in recent decades that take *any* of the 'classical' esthetic elements into account, which, IMO, is the distinguishing factor between a 'big building' and an actual architectural work. Thus, I figure most will be recycled/replaced/continually 'renovated' over time - a pointless exercise, at enormous expense, no less.
It's all become about 'how big, flashy, trendy or gaudy can it be' - what an absolute *waste!*

Disgusting! Meanwhile 4.5 million poor families use food banks in the UK
Remember that there are multiple Billionaires that have given Billions of dollars to charaties, yet nothing changes. As someone who started with nothing here in the states when I was 7 years old back in 2004, my family had nothing. We literally rented a room for my mom, dad, brother who was 1 and I. We had barely anything, my clothes were all donations, dumpster finds, and yard sale clothing. There were times when we didnt have food on the table, I remember sometimes 1 bowl of cereal was the only meal I my brother and i had. We asked the government for help but they refused to give us anything, I started working when I was 11 in order to help my parents make ends meet. But that gave me a different perspective on life especially now that I look at my cousins and their families they all conform with what they have, but for us when I was young, my parents taught me to strive for something more than simply what we had. Which is probably why I think that just giving people what they need is not enough, they will simply conform and will see it as "well the government pays for my house, food, etc, why do I need to put in an effort to better myself." Sure the government could give a them a hand but demand they better themselves and not simply expect them to always give them everything. But that is just me, especially with what I went through my family fought and clawed ourselves into where we are, we aren't wealthy people but have enough to pay our bills, food and a nice cars. But it's not enough to put out that fire in me for more success and I don't see wealthy people as evil people, because there are many who went from rags to riches. I see them as an inspiration and I think it's easier to give people a small boost but require them to work for themselves to get to where they want and if they dont, well there's no point in pushing them if they're unwilling to do the work.
@Charles Lee Ray no it happened to us, mainly because my parents couldnt get all the paperwork needed (cali) you literally need to jump through so many hoops. And as for my father's income at the time was under 25k before taxes, my mom couldn't work. It's also pretty difficultwhen you live in the middle of nowhere and even more so when family turns their back on you. The only reason we got a foot hold and were able to climb out was because our former landlord was a real estate agent and gave my father work, I would go with him sat, and Sundays and breaks to help him doing what I could, she also allowed us to rent one her properties. That allowed my dad to work his way up in her company and earned about 45k before taxes. Even 3 years ago when my dad passed away we got a 180k bill for a 3 week stay at the hospital, and when we asked for medical we were denied 2 applications because we couldnt provide proof that we no longer owned a car from 8years prior. Then they said we had to wait another couple of weeks to talk to someone in person. We contacted them multiple times until we were finally able to explain them the situation. Honestly that's how things have happened I'm grateful to my former landlord because once I turned 18 she gave me a decent paying position as a landscaper and through that I was able to work my way up. I'm 21 now and am working my a** off to get a GC license because I and now the head of my family and i do not want my youngest brother to struggle, and that's what I've told him and the middle one. The middle one is now learning a trade and we hope to keep working to get better. Whether you or anyone else believes me or not makes no difference to me but that's why i dont really believe in just giving people something and them not working to get better but to each their own.

BF TE Then why do so many people suffer and die while sky daddy sits on the sidelines? Why do so many devoted Christians get drowned in poverty or live in soul ripping conditions? Why do pastors and members throw out twizzlers and skittles, yet when the needy come knocking on the door, they’re cruel and turn them away. Gays are killed everyday by the same people who read the same darned book that you do. Life isn’t easy. Stop looking for loopholes. Stop coming up with excuses for which our species suffer needlessly. It’s not apart of a plan, there is no greater purpose in life. The only purpose is what you give yourself. If you’re homeless and empty handed, god is not going to fly down and save you. He does not exist. You must climb that ladder alone. Prayer gets you nowhere. It certainly didn’t do anything for me. I one was a sheep like yourself. I prayed and prayed, but nothing happened. I needed someone who could help me, but they never came. Why do you thing people have left the faith? Oh, maybe they just got bored, NO! They were sick and tired and died waiting for a benevolent being to show up and give them what they deserved. They threw away their security blanket and got their hands dirty. Sure, it was a struggle, but look where it got them. Stop with this childish nonsense and decide who YOU are.

Sir Elton’s net worth in 2019 is valued at US$450 Million which is a laff because, all things considered, apart from his pop music catalogue with Bernie Taupin (lyricist), Elton has other productions in collaboration with Tim Rice such as The Lion King franchise (film/theater), AIDA and Billy Elliot, in addition to revenues from his residency in Las Vegas which recently ended. Currently, Elton is on a Farewell Tour, one would suppose, because he has vowed never to perform in large arena venues again after age 72 haha (Elton just turned 72 on 25 March 2019)... “so goodbye, Yellow Brick Road...”

Very interesting reading this toxic comments section.Pathetic how many people rush to judge" the billionaires"based on a few incidents in one city, but have never even met a billionaire. My perspective is somewhat less jaded as I am friends with a couple of billionaires as well as a handful of multi-millionaires. Most are loving fathers and husbands, HUGE contributors to charities, and generally highly educated and very likable people.Very unlike the super-rich described in this video.I am quite sure these "financial aristocrats" do exist but that doesn't exemplify the lifestyle of all of the ultra-wealthy.My hometown(Houston,Texas) was devastated by a hurricane in 2017 and we worked along side some of the wealthiest people in Houston loading trucks and handing out food and supplies, and yes,the rich people were doing the manual labor with us as well as providing much of the food, supplies and money that we distributed. Several of my ultra-wealthy friends volunteer at inner city homeless shelters (which they also bankroll) and are on a first name basis with many of the clients. Before passing judgement on a complete class of people, please be honest with yourself about what YOU do tho help those less fortunate. If you have a computer to read this on and electricity to run it then I can guarantee you there as some in your city with much less than you have. That being said, please note that I am not a multi-millionaire or even close to it...
Randy Husband don't delude yourself. There is not one billionaire on this earth who has made his money the honest, hard working way. They got wealthy by screwing other people over. Their life style is unconscionable and immoral because it flies in the face of global suffering of the 99%.
@@harrypjotr1935 : and you "know" this because you actually know how many billionaires? Probably never even met one.Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of pieces of crap ultra-rich that live like the ones in this video but there are others who have worked hard all their lives to build a fortune and now spend vast sums of it to help others. As long as YOU are doing your part to help the less fortunate then you can criticize the rick all you want, but most are quick to point the finger at the the rick while they do little or nothing themselves.I do not know you or your heart so I will not speculate.Only You know if you are helping others,as I truly hope you are. There is light and darkness in ALL classes of people.
@@randyhusband8542 you have zero political awareness, dude. I realized that the moment I read your comment. And btw as a MSW I am more than familiar with what you call 'the less fortunate'. Good day!
@@harrypjotr1935 : let's be real, what you are is a idiot, plain and simple. You are jealous of those who have what you do not. Not willing to waste any more time on you...goodbye.
@@randyhusband8542 too bad, it was just getting interesting. And btw you're lacking grammar skills: It's 'an idiot' not 'a idiot'.
money can buy confort and reduce stress
Being content gives you comfort and reduces stress
I think money could give you some sense of comfort and reduced stress depending on what you do with it. But it sounds to me like these people don't have any sense of comfort or reduced stress. Their stress appears to be multiplied. I certainly would not want to live like this. I can see why so many rich people kill themselves after watching this.
But to get money u need to ignore comfort and will be more stressful
Actually, if you talk to very wealthy people, it creates lots of very serious problems like gold digging, fake friends and people constantly trying to get something out of you. Better to be upper middle class. Nobody knows you in that case and nobody cares what you do.
@Wyatt Martinez
All these big high rise luxury apartments sitting empty , ruining the sky line whilst looking down at the homeless is wrong.
Plus it keeps the wealth tied into the property and not in the society the property exists in..
Instead of calling them ' Luxury Executive Apartments ' they should be called ' Luxury Laundry Service Apartments'.
Having a house where people just waste putting out flowers and getting your cars ready just in case you may one day show up, really is a waste. But guess it keeps people employed though?
At least the employees get to enjoy the flowers and clean home? They might as well own it.
Collecting and hoarding all the best places and not using them is just wasteful.
These buildings generally existing is wasteful. No one needs that much space and equity, money or not.
26 people own more, than 3.8 billion people on Earth. For those, living creatures, not much has changed since one man acquired wealth by selling another, for 30 pieces of silver.
should read the richest man of Babylon

At least the Medici family put a large portion of their monies into public good and public works of art and architecture - this is just self-absorption.
You have been sold the myth of the Medici. The truth is -
The only reason the Medici put any money into art was because they were so guilt ridden (as Catholics) about their family business as usuries (basically loan sharks), which the bible describes as possibly the most despicable occupation of all or any. It wasn't public art either. It was mostly commissioned portraiture and allegorical art (laced with their own family members as the actors) to adorn their private properties and often private chapels where no one uninvited could see the works.
The Medici were despicable Machiavellian overlords who were, historically speaking, some of the most self-indulgent folks that ever lived.
"if you want to know what God thinks of money (lenders)..." observe what the Medici did to try to gain absolution. They only cared about themselves. They were accidental patrons of the arts.
Never let the facts get in the way of a good story.
And how much you put?
nested bird, And if you're rich, you don't need to pay a dollar?
nested bird, Okay, rich pay to visit galleries too, what's the difference?
If they earned their fortune they get to spend it how they want. They shouldn't have to do shit for we the poor.
If these wealthy people who love to show off so much, really knew how other people don't give a shit about their super-homes and cars and toys - they'd probably be very disappointed. I can't think of anything lonelier than rattling around by myself in a 30,000 sq. ft. "home". The amount of greed and self-love that is needed to maintain that image is very unappealing to be around. I am much more impressed by someone living in a one-room 500 sq. ft. apartment and donating their money to charities. There is only so much money one person can spend on themselves, and they certainly can't take it with them.
Thank you for making this video.❤ People with employees.❤ that is aweful for thee victims of iceberg housing.
At 17:58 what this lady says is the truth. Family, Friends, good food and music that's life.
But all these things would not come without money.
@@ambition9698 one would hope u would have family and friends without money
Once again, money doesn't buy taste...or accountability(apparently), in the case of the London townhouse collapses.
It will continue until the gov't HAS to do (forced) something about it. I can see there being a requirement for an insurance policy to be taken out for any damages done to a neighboring residence.....to include housing them until their home is fixed.
off course it don't be silly. that why they have designer there.
Moral of the story, be born super rich and you will be ok.
To put it simply and succinctly, what goes up, must come down.
In this case find that house and bulldoze the fuck out of it and turn it into a community park or some shit time to fight and die for it and if they see us as criminals then fucking let them.
There is no way I'd have the ballroom underground.
me either; I would insist on windows, and accessiblity to the outside if I were to build a ballroom.
come on... the quality is too bad
come on --another jealous guy...
Can you give me the original videos link?
The quality of this video is brilliant 🙃

Very good
LMAO @3:38, smug guy "You wonder how much time you can spend in a bath watching a movie"
Amazing.
Once I win the powerball, I'm going to Monaco! But in all seriousness, all the rich kids I knew are dreadful adults. The kids from nothing make good and work themselves to death or disability by 45 to 50.
you have a great point I was a factory worker raised 3 kids on my own worked in factories all my youth now bad back knees ankles and hand pain I had to go on disability and only break 1200 a month wtf can I do now body finished
How sad that there are so many people wasting resources to fill something within that can never be satisfied by material accumulation. Instead, try actually doing something directly for people in need or sharing your talents directly with others. Certainly, that would be much more authentically satisfying..... helping to spread happiness and security to many more people than just you and your closest relatives.
you probleblyn ot a millinair
Nobody becomes a millionaire or a billionaire by working for others and depending on them. Good investment brings millions of dollars and consistency brings billions; the market is all about bitcoin at the moment.
Well, Investment without an adequate knowledge on whatever you're investing in, is a total wait of resources and time. One should first strive to gather enough knowledge in any field he or she chooses to invest in.
@@anthonyparker1842 you're very right. A lack of the require skills and knowledge is disadvantageous to any kind of investment. It shouldn't just be about investing but making profit too.
Investment is paramount but doing it rightly comes with extra blessings and dividend
Speaking of investing, forex trading is the best business in the world right now with the ever raising amount of bitcoin. I know a couple of friends who makes a lot of money weekly trading the financial market

Billionaire's are out of control. Working people need to live too. Billionaire's are just getting to the ridiculous stage 7 something should be done about it.
I had a billionaire client once.. ($14 billion)
When he left the room every member of his permanent staff talked about what a total Arsehole he was.
Beautiful residences !
If you have the money why not have more comforts and healthy additions like swimming pools to keep healthy ,live, have fun.
Good for them.
All those neighbours were having their own comforts ,they were not living in a tent !
You did feel sorry for the neighbours who suffered from foreign cowboy builders.
The issue of foreign cowboy builders is due to the social utter contempt shown to qualified trades men !
It use to take 6 to 7years to learn a trade and now the ideots in government cut the training and encourage
Cowboy activity!
The tragedy of Kensington towers is a classic example!
Many other examples elsewhere in the UK exist.
Speaking as a homeowner and an investor, I doubt if these buildings are going to appreciate.
When there are so many people struggling to make ends meet, this seems so obscene.
Stop your complaining and make shit happen. #TheGameIsNotZeroSum
Exactly.
Whether they inherited their wealth, or they worked hard to expand their empire, there are much worse things a person can do with their money, than buying houses. If they were running a drug operation, a brothel or having illegal fights to the death, then I would have plenty to say. Buying houses is not hurting anyone. The rich people can do whatever they want with their money. For the sake of tax advantages, they have their charities that they contribute to, and it would be generous to do things for the poor and homeless people, but they don't deserve to be criticized if they choose not to.
B
If you earned it by yourself its not obscene
Whats worse, being rich or having kids other people have to pay for? To me both are obscene. Your kids, your responsibility. But wealth SHOULD be shared. Tax the fuckers but what is the solution for people having so many kids without any plan everywhere in the world? This is what is destroying the world.
Money doesn’t make you happy, either does being broke
I wish I could see the “family” townhouse all completed.
May we all remember that nothing is permanent... These things are never lasting but the soul. the soul is eternal.
lol keep telling yourself that.

That intro music tho! 🎶🎵🕺🏿 makes me wanna boogie 😁
As the saying goes "If you want to know what God thinks of money, look at the people who have it" - money surely doesn't mean taste or class as is clearly seen in this documentary.
Yes complete lack of taste and personality. Everybody wants to look like everybody else. Sounds like High School. Just absolutely ridiculous and makes no sense whatsoever. These people must be completely emotionally stunted.
Stop hating
I actually think those mansions are beautiful as hell.
having great taste and being poor doesnt work lol. its better to be tacky and have 15 billion.
Not Money, its the LOVE of Money!
