Congratulations Queen! You deserve it!! & ik this is going to sound sooo crazy, but water & shampoo is my favorite thing to put on my scalp! There is nothing like a cleansing your scalp and rinsing it with water. I love the feeling of a clean scalp!! LOL!

My scalp is loving that I have stopped putting oil on it. I have oily scalp and scalp inflammation. When I stopped oiling my scalp, the itching and tightness went away. I oil and massage my scalp every 3 days because it would itch. I also started brushing and combing my hair every 3 days to spread the sebum on my scalp, and my scalp and hair are moisturized to the next wash day. Before I shampoo my hair, I will do a herbal glaze treatment which is glycerin mostly infused with other things. I purchased this from a RUclipsr that was a Cosmetologist, and she is now a Herbalist. This is the best thing I have done for my hair and scalp.

I like to mix colloidal oatmeal with some warm water and apply it as a scalp mask if I have any flair ups on my scalp.
I also love the innate life neroli primer which is safe for the scalp and the problematic scalp treatment before washday.
Regular rose water is an awesome scalp refresh as someone who easily gets buildup.

I have to stop washing with really warm water. Since I'm in the shower and like hot showers I don't like lukewarm water, but I need to start using lukewarm on my hair, putting on a conditioning cap, then I can blast myself with the hot water without it getting on my hair/scalp. Thanks for being so clear about how important that is.
My favorite product for blowouts is Briogeo heat protectant. Best I've found. Fav if not using heat would be adwoa beauty leavin conditioners.

Head and shoulders shampoo, only for your scalp though. Avoid vegetable oils on your scalp, they feed the fungus that causes SD. Mineral oil, MCT oil and jojoba oil are safe to use without causing a flare. Wipe your scalp every couple a days with an acv solution if you don't shampoo weekly. What has helped me tremendously is a mix of Sulfur 8, top brass, a few drops of peppermint, rosemary, lavender, oregano and tea tree oil. My SD is basically gone! From wiping with the acv solution every week and applying the ointment mix I mentioned every 2 or 3 days. 🎉🎉🎉

So I struggle with preserving aloe vera leaf after I use it...if you freeze it, it's watery when you unthaw it, is that ok? Idk...so then I bought the gel which is shelf stable. I can't use aloe by itself anymore. I get some kind of physiological reaction...I have to dilute with water and oil. It's too strong for me by itself. I get confused if I'm using the right aloe vera FORM. Could you help clarify that please? Thank you for the tips!🙏🏿
