Lyrics
Sinner rider rides in with the storm
The Devil rides beside him
The Devil is his God, God help you mourn
Do you, do you hear it?
Do you hear the thunder
Deafen every living thing about?
Can you, can you see it?
Can youSee the mountains darken yonder?
Black sun rising, time is runnin' out
Sacrifice to vice or die by the hand of the sinner
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sinner!
His steed of fury
Eyes of fire and mane ablaze
Demonic vultures stalking
Drawn by the smell of war and pain
He roams the starways
Searching for the carcasses of war
But if it's hungry then it's very presence
Disrupts the calm into the storm
Curse and damn you all you'll fall by the hand of the sinner
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sinner!
God of the devils, God of the devils
Won't you help them pray?
God of the devils, God of the devils
Is there no other way?
Can't you hear their souls calling out in their plight?
Can't you see their blood is boiling setting them alight?
Thirty years now I was sleeping
So sound, sound, sound, sound
War raises it's head
And looks slowly around, around, around, around
The sinner is near, sensing your fear
And the beast will start movin' all round
Can't you see their souls calling out in their brain?
Can't you hear their blood is boiling setting them alight?
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sinner!
Sacrifice to vice or die by the hand of the

This 1988 Ram it Down Tour saw Rob with his strongest voice ever, the pinnacle!
Posiblemente, buena observación,en esta época llegó a su clímax y a saber mucha experiencia para ya coronarse como el dios del metal
@@Grimba288 Ναι
This is the best version ever. The band was on fire.
New Haven Coliseum ... Not Forgotten.
To this day, I thank God that I saw Judas Priest on April 9,1979 in Santa Cruz, California, USA on their "Hell Bent for Leather" tour. My life was never the same..."There's many who tried to prove that they're faster, and they didn't last and they died as they tried..."
Truer words were never spoken.
@ I like to watch: Same here, 1981 in Dallas, 4th row center stage, was age 16. Maiden warmed up! (Got married in NorCal 20yrs later; wedding pics in Santa Cruz)👊
@vandrive5687 . I saw them I think twice that year in Dallas, once at Moody Colliseum 6th row dead center, they showed up with their full Marshall stacks. If I remember correctly Humble Pie was supposed to open, be4 Maiden, but had an OD. Paul Dianno was awesome too.
My ears damn near bled that weekend...😂, by far the loudest show I have ever attended. I was 17. Have seen them many times over the years including at shoreline amphitheater in NoCal. Always a good time
🤘
I saw them on the Screaming for Vengeance tour '82... Front and Center !! Blown the fuck away !!
Judas Priest, PLEASE release the 3 songs with STOCK AITKEN WATERMAN. They lingered in the dark for 36 years now and all we have is one minute snippet of "You are everything" which his hunting and beautiful. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release them! The world needs to hear them NOW!!!
Yes I hope they release them. It's long overdue.
I never get tired of this band! Definitely one of the greatest on earth.
Kk solo wow!!!
Halford's vocals at 5:04 is insane! Best vocalist and unmatched!
Holy Shit, I've heard this song a Million Times...
I know this run very well.
Halford decided to take an already high pitched run and times it by A Thousand!
Fuckin' Amazing!
Halford had just became sober and MAN does it show. Just laser sharp focus. Halford at his very best.
And some fools think that Ripper is better - ha!
They're even better on the Unleashed In The East version.
@@hinjurock70 In both of their heydays, obviously Halford is better, but match them up today.......It's Ripper all the way.....Time and age sucks, but it's a fact of life you cannot deny....
rob voice one of the greatest ever in all music not just metal brilliance
That's for sure ✨🙋🏆🤘☁️☁️☁️✈️🌠✨🇬🇧🦅🥁🏁💥🔱🔥⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡💋💘💖✨
I personally believe that JP just gets better with age. Been a favorite of mine since I was a teenager and I'm proudly 59 years old. The only other band that comes close is probably Iron Maiden in my opinion.
I'm almost 70 yrs old. I was at this NewHaven concert. Most memorable better than the Who Led Zep live as I've pretty much seen them all.
Black Sabbath though…
Halford is a force of nature and a national treasure to the nation of Metal!!!
I watched them play last night in Nashville 3-23-22. They shredded. The light show was tight. He can still screech his pipes are fine. If they come to your town check them out.
I've seen these guys so many times I can't count.first time san Bernardino in 83.they are polished perfessionals.worth the money every time
You can fuckin count on it
I was there in 83 at the US festival and they rocked every band there was awesome except Van Halen cause DLR ruined it for Van Halen
I always do, and as close to the stage as possible. I like the first 5 rows, it's worth it.
@@Miguel-bi3ngmy first time was at the Philadelphia Spectrum in 84 with Great White as the supporting act, damn that was 40 years ago.
BEST PERFORMANCE EVER.....HALFORD AT HIS TOP.... STATE OF GRACE !!!🖤
I hate to say this but I definitely disagree on that. The best was the 82 vengeance tour. When they did sinner on that stage it was way more coordinated and kk's solo was way more intense. This is a great live version but 82 vengeance tour was by far the best performance of this song
ruclips.net/video/SI1ZcIbhsmk/видео.html
@@crod67435 I agree with you...but I meant Halford's vocal performance 🤘
Rob's voice was objectively much louder and more powerful than even the best performances in 1982/83. Who was there, like myself, remembers it well. All without any effort, in a natural way.
@@crod67435 ruclips.net/video/cAr1irxW078/видео.html
Greatest performance ever! Long live the Priest!
Absolutely in their prime!
Prime was '79 to '82. But yeah, somehow '88 Halford is sounding as savage as ever.
@@Frip36 No, 88 is their prime, Rob could never do this in 82
@@JohnDoe-nh7vx Rob is intentionally singing very hard and high on this concert. To prove a point, perhaps. But he was 6 years younger in '82. So easily could have sung like this back then. Listen to the '81 Chicago show. It's on RUclips.
@@JohnDoe-nh7vx He could and DID. FACT.

Wow🤘🏻 My god that rhythm section is killer
just classical music, in a sense.

So is Rob's voice! Omg does he ever have a voice!! I'm obsessed with JP. Always have been!! What a jammin' tune!!❤
yup. Dave Holland/Ian Hill. tighter than fuck. always.
@@Cinderrella absolutely agreed. No comparison, ever, at any time. Never will be. 🤘🔥🔥
Being that I was not a big fan of the Turbo album and also not a big fan of the song Johnny B Goode from the Ram It Down album, I reluctantly went to watch Judas Priest on this tour only because a friend gave me the ticket. I'm happy that he talked me into going because the show was awesome. I was especially thrilled that they played Beyond The Realms Of Death. Though they've had a few slip ups in their discography, Judas Priest are still the Metal Gods.
I was there too. Great show!
Yeah a few slip ups... but 99% ain't bad
@@toddgakk5783 Definitely
All there albums kick ass
,Priest is the shit
METAL GODS they are indeed, totally agree 🤘😀
My face is frickin melting!!!!!!!!!!
A real Judas Priest classic played 10 years after it came out.
12 yrs

It's a feast for the ears 🤘🤘
The Essence of Metal Perfection
I've been running around like this since 1972 when I First heard The Priest!!! Absolutely The Best
PS I'm from Newhaven
1972? It must have been 1974 man, but cool story!
You might even say you were running wild
@@budfletcher3787 East Haven. Close enough.
Actually Priest were around even before 1972 though with Al Atkins as the singer, KK Downing on guitar (no Tipton) and even drummer Allan Moore (who left before Rock a Rolla but came back for Sad Wings of Destiny - and then left for good). If one were around England at this time you might have run into the proto-Priest!
listening during working hours 🤘 , excellent song like all of judas priest --- rob halford's voice is the best in the world in male gender , He deserves all the awards at the artistic level 💎🥇🏆🎼🎸💰

He jumps 7 octaves to sing one word.
Calm
Like, disrupts the ^^^^ into the storm
Oooohh yeah baby. I love Halfords singing. He hits the notes. I believe he was opera before metal. First concert I saw at 14. Wish I could go back!!!!!!
He does deserve all rewards. He does kick ass as a singer ...
I was there. Great performance!
Blessed to have been able to witness Judas Priest in their Prime! No Autotune in those days. You either could or you couldn't no machine existed to help your talentless ass out! The Great Rob Halford was and is in a league of his own!
Mindblowing performance!! PRIEST FOREVER.
Greatest vocals ever!
It's impressive how speeding up a song may effectively enhance it 🔥🤘🏼😎
Super excellent awesome, video, rock, on,yes 😊😊
I was at this show- unreal power and precision
Amazing Version!!!!!! Like Unleashed in the East...!!!!!!
Yes Just lot more tempo.
The ultimate Priest song!! ⚡ It has everything!!💙🙋 Always will be one of my very favorites!🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶💙🙋
I've seen 100's of bands live. Priest has the BEST live sound! \METAL GODS!!!!!

Can you come up with something more original than that?
I was at this show. Awesome!
I was at this show. New Haven Coliseum August 1988. Great show!
Nothing! Like the real sound of metal!
I'm so lost for words. Absolutely love it!!!!
I wish I had this entire show on blu-ray 4k with a thunderstorm sound to make my crib shakes ,this is the # 1 tour for me Rob voice on this entire tour was blessings all over the audience!!! I was lucky enough to see painkiller tour Jan 1991 RIO
As a singer he is one of the greatest singer's that I ever heard. As well. And they're my favorite band as well as my cousin Roy but I loss him a few months ago to liver cancer and we were waiting for them to come to Baltimore city so we could go together. But I loss him and my heart breaks for losing him and I loss another cousin his name was Brian and 2 Aunts and uncle and my beautiful daughter's mother who was my best friend and the love of my life and my daughter Toni and my heart is broken. This year has been the worst in my life.

Great voice....... Metal 🤘🤘
This song just JAMS!!!💋🖤💋🖤
fucking masterful, insurmountable living power. No one can kill the Metal
Dave Holland is a beast here, he sounds like Dave Lombardo (apart from the double bass).
Yep. I thought it was Scott Travis on some of the drum fills. Then remembered it's actually Holland.
Yes!
LES DIEUX DU MÉTAL!!!.
Nowhere Near Dave Lombardo, but pretty fucking good 🤘
Holland kills it here!
Amazing! !!!!
Glen Tipton and k.k. Downing were unstoppable !!!!!!
I wish people would stop comparing Halford to anyone.
Dave Holland kicks all drummer's asses right here.
Totally agree, he is definitely "delivering the Goods" 🤘💀🤘
This version of an already amazing song is even better! JP at their best!
Halford at his best!
The drum's are awesome All kinds of rudiments 😈
Holland was badass
Holland was the heaviest handed drummer Priest ever had.
What a great version. They sound fantastic
Judas Priest Ich mag dich. Viel Glück! Halford, du bist großartig!
THIS IS Band!!

Priest in their prime. Just epic.
when they were Metal, Dave Holland best drummer they've had...New Haven was the best place to see a show.
Очень крутая версия "Грешника", здесь Роб Хэлфорд просто бесподобен!!!
И соло Даунинга здесь просто чумовое.

The Goats. No question

The show last night in Wallingford was awesome. Unbelievable. The best Rob's sounded in years.
There is no song I don't love 💔 coming from a small town I have never been to a concert. Not that I've I would know what it's like 🤔 I dream of live Priest, I know one day my dream will come true and when it does nothing will compare...

a GREAT video to turn on and then open a window to other web sites, but for background music. incredible AUDIO YEAH!
Gonna go to your concert in Estonia on 5th June. Can't wait for it. My favourite when i was at least 1 year old and it is still a good game. Heavy Metal never dies, especially its kings🤘🤘🤘
