This is at the top in the funniest comedy scenes ever done. masterful - genius - brilliant. Up there with Fools and Horses Chandelier sketch and 2 Rons 4 candles.
For me this show is right up there with Fawlty Towers, Porridge, Rising Damp and others I can't quite recall at this moment. Kudos to the young learner in this stand-out segment. Still simply brilliant after countless views. Thank you Steve Delaney et al.
I remember watching this episode with my young nephew and we both laughed like hell. There's nothing remotely as good these days in terms of old-fashioned family comedy. I saw one of his live shows a few years ago at my local theatre...Steve Delaney has to be one of the funniest comedy performers in the country; we should see more of him on TV.
This comedy gold of the highest order!! Count Arthur strong is a bona fide comedy genius, saw him on telly a few years ago, but didn't catch his name, so was unable to find him, he randomly came up on you tube a few days ago, recognised him immediately, what a classic example of serendipity, a golden comedy treat😂🤣😁
INSTANT CLASSIC. They really need to find a way to bring this series back, possibly through stream services, because this show is top class writing. Had a chance to meet the actor twice at live shows in my town, and he is fantastic and such a nice person.
Many don’t realise this but the other writer behind the TV version of Count Arthur Strong wasn’t only DeLaney, but Father Ted and IT Crowd genius, Graham Linehan. It was Linehan that made these episodes on TV so brilliant.
I agree why cancel it love the count ! However the mere mention a blanket comment of woke shite shows me that it’s just an opinionated little englander
This is crying out to be remade with an all black cast. Maybe add some trans and non binary characters.Come on BBC! Pull your finger out and give us the kind of programmes we all want.
It really wasn’t canned laughter…… I was there at the studio watching the filmed bits. The studio audience’s laughter is genuine, and also when other bits of the programme were done live in the studio.
The walk to the planes is just pure magic
Yep, perfect physical comedy.
Fab
I was hysterical with laughter at that part.
The funniest show on tv for years. Never received the recognition it deserved. Simply brilliant stuff.
Yeh I thought it was underrated as well. A real gem.

I never laugh out loud at anything on TV, but I was howling at this at the time. Absolute magic.
Absolutely brilliant comedy. Both thinking the other is the instructor. Pure comical genius.
...just that bit were they are deciding, which plane..............magic!
Honestly this is the single best bit of comedy. Innocent good fun and totally hilarious.
This is my favourite part of all 3 series of the show, absolute comedy genius! 😂😂😂
No coincidence meeting someone with same name at the Lowry....yes it is me!

If you think Steve Delaney is good, wait until until you see Count Arthur Strong!

You do know that the real comic genius behind the TV series of CAS wasn’t necessarily Steve DeLaney, but Father Ted creator, Graham Linehan?
Brilliant TV show. I wish they'd bring it back. And yes......there really WERE urchins!
He is a comedy genius. That walk to the plane, Comedy gold. And the kid played his part wonderfully.
Perfect comedy premise brilliantly performed 👍

He'd have to find a new writing partner. Graham Linehan has been cancelled.
Absolutely brilliant
This is the most brilliant episode. I really do. >
One of the funniest scenes ever. When I watched it on TV I had tears in my eyes laughing
Walking towards the plane never laughed so much 😊
“Well i suppose we do all need daylight”
😂😂😂
The best comedy moment ever
No one made laugh that hard for a while … thank you sir
Much as I still prefer the original radio series, this is my favourite scene from the TV version.

Don’t forget Graham Linehan!
This show should have been bigger. It’s great
Really struggled with the TV series but this episode is where it really came together.
Genuinely funny as they inch towards the planes...

Perfect timing the clocks have just gone back yesterday......... Or was it forward?? I never really know.
Flawless
An event like this really did happen
Based a bit on a Dick Emery driving school examiner skit.

just found this comedian, he's growing on me 😼
Classic
Why cancel this show? BBC don't know what they're doing, far better than the woke sh*t on now.
I agree why cancel it love the count ! However the mere mention a blanket comment of woke shite shows me that it’s just an opinionated little englander
I've only just heard of it, reminds me a lot of the british comedy sitcoms of old, very refreshing.
@W c Fields what does woke mean as well as being awake?
It wasn't woke enough.
Graham linehan is a genius . Father Ted,IT Crowd etc...
It was so good… why did they cancel it?!!

Funniest skit ever 😂😂😂
Awkward at its best!

Eeek! - Awkward!
Don't Do It!

Graham Linehan would love that.
Very good but could have done without the canned laughter.

@@mrbennetts Don't take much these days to make folks chuckle.
Blimey, i assume this is a kids programme. Bit like the Frank Spencer scenes at flying school.
It would be far better without a laugh track
Absolutely brilliant
Genius
