I'd literally never heard of this band until it popped up as a suggested video because Gina is listed in the description. After working at the same show with her for over a year, I can honestly say that she's the most talented guitarist I've ever met in decades of bring in the entertainment industry. They owe the Rock Gods quite a sacrifice for being lucky enough to have her!
No one will ever compare to Pete's backing vocals and stage presence but from all the videos I've seen since his departure, I have zero doubt that Gina is the best possible replacement for him. They're playing like a unit already

People are saying that Gina couldn't replace Peter. While I do agree, my counterargument is this: If you replace Peter, all you get is the exact same thing. One of my favorite things about Baroness, and a lot of the other bands I love is their diversity and the way they grow and change. I love Red, Blue, Yellow/Green and Purple, but all for different reasons. They have so much in them that sets them apart, I'm personally really excited about Gina coming on, because I think she'll bring something new and interesting to the music to keep it really incredible! I'm pumped for this new album, because I know it'll be something amazing!

This video is tough to enjoy. You can tell the cameraman is really trying hard to avoid the B-Side Elton John security guard at all costs. To the point where Baroness is the full bottom half of the screen, and the sky and speakers are the top half.

She and the singer met via an effects pedal forum. There's an interview somewhere (rig rundown series I think) where they talked about that.
