Crazy how eb and standard sound different. A engineer told me that making a song of mine eb would change vibe. I didn’t hear it playing it but listening Back to back. Wow
Fantastic!! For a player who is learning this song, everything is perfect--standard tuning and E Flat, tablature. I will be spending a lot of time with this video. I've subscribed and will check out your website. Thank you so much.
Is this how Hendrix did the verses - others say he used the "Hendrix shape" chords (thumb over low E string) and played lead licks with his fingers within the chord shapes.
It is easier to compose an original song than try to imitate the playing style of others. Kudos to those who imitate the nitty gritty notes of songs. They are better than those that just write songs simply because they can nail the details. People are amaze when they hear a guitar player who NEVER play the same way on a song/music twice. The truth is he forgot the EXACT NOTES he played in the original; so he has to improvise & ends "not playing the same way on a song twice." Not really impressive. What's interesting are those who cover the original songs NOTE-BY-NOTE. Job well done on this cover!
One of the best covers and lesson on RUclips.
I've lost track how many times I've listened to this, but it always amazes me how incredible this guitar piece is, well done!
A masterclass, dude! Wow, very well played!

Weird how you can hear Knopfler's influence in Hendrix.
Think you got your dates mixed up ...
