felt like you were specifically talking to me considering i'm going from etsy to shopify right now and thought about some of the things you touched on verbatim in my head 😅 thank you!
Thank you so much for the video, however I have a question. What happens when someone orders from my Shopify store, will i have to pay with my own money for the product to be made and shipped or?
Hey Christina, did you get a USA based LLC before you started this - in order to collect sales tax (once you hit the 200 or $ threshold in a state)? Keen to hear about how you tackled this if you are doing a future vid in this series. Thanks heaps!
Thanks for uploading this video. I am sure we will learn many things from this series. I have one query, you said you have many niches in your etsy store, is it for one particular product or you use various niches on different products on your etsy shop? Seeking your valuable guidance. Some people say either go for one products with different niches or different products with one particular niche. I am a new seller so i need your expert opinion.
For Etsy I’d recommend sticking to 1-2 products! Much easier to do research and nail them down and get good mock-ups and then test different niches on that product.
but why can't Printify just provide the same kind of service offered by the likes of Shopify Amazon Etsy etc. that will make life so much easier for the rest of us cos the process of migrating product already designed to Printify to other pages is like hell 😓
they kinda do with Printify pop up, but you have to drive all the traffic and there isnt much options for customizing your site and you also cant get found on marketplaces like Etsy. Theyre just the middleman suppliers and thats what theyre best at!
Question: with Shopify i don't have to market or get the traffic into my store by myself, they do the exposing to potential customer themselves or on my behalf. as in a shop owner just design products and they (Shopify) sell it on your (shop owner's) behalf?
@@Soweto_Corner_Apparels Nope! that is more Etsy. Shopify is just a way to create your own website, but they do not drive any traffic for you. You'll have to do so using paid ads or social media. Etsy, if you learn how do do their SEO then youll get traffic without marketing though
Welcome to my get started on Shopify series- where I share my Shopify Print on Demand growth!

You should get a sellers permit first so that you can report depending on which state you live in so you can be aware any sales tax income etc.
