Thanks for the shout out bro!
No sweat man!
I agree with most of your tools, all very useful. The SMD I think is overpriced for what it does. Sam showed you can make a DD1 for like $10 and even RF has one of their website about how to detect distortion and theirs cost about $20. As for the AMM, you have already showed the MultiMeter which can be put on AC on your amps to see how much power they are putting out. I just find SMD makes a huge profit on $20 components in a nice package.
I'd pick a decent MM over both the SMD products any day.
I dig them, but I get they’re not for everyone
You forgot to mention the fleshlite, every installer should have one!
Always dropping gems, bro. Huge fan of your content.
Appreciate it homie!
You forgot the most used tool, your debit card😂
No it’s her debit card 🤫 🤣
You sho right!
Car audio Some step drills are a definite plus. Klein makes nice tools, Ideal also makes some decent electrician tools at least back when I worked with my electrician dad back in the late 90s, I still have an Ideal MM with AC amp clamp from back in 98. One thing Those cheapie loose Allen wrenches are good for is when you need to cut one to a special length for hard to get to spot then loose like most of my Allen's except for the one the lawn mower finds...
How about if we also put an oscilloscope? I think it works the same as the dd1 and is cheaper, the dd1 is much more expensive than the multimeter and the oscilloscope
You forgot to mention a socket set you must have a socket set
Klien is top notch for anything electrical
measuring tape, skill saw, table saw, jig saw, router for box builds. tin snips for light body work, basic wrench set and socket set to remove seats, flashlight, long drill bits and extensions, plastic or nylon panel popping tools, a coat hanger or some other rigid but bendable wire for running speaker cables into doors and other tight spots(i use an old antenna). a power probe makes finding hot. switched, and ground wires really easy. clamp meter for alternator testing, then you can go huge into tools if you're doing something like a bass van or super custom build. fiberglass tools, welders, metal fabrication, suspension tools, etc.
All solid picks
The most important I think is a great pair of wire strippers. For smaller gauge wire. Snap on makes a great pair but I also have a pair of Klein. Could you maybe do a video on different types of insulation and different wire connecting methods? Rob your content is above par and I'm thinking I'm going to become a patreon member.
That’s a great idea! And I’d love to have you on the team man
Wire toner maybe? Have used in past with my Hyundai as the wire schematics sometimes conflict.
Love the content
That would be a good add for a specialty tool video!
All good tools. The klein cable cutters work real good until you catch your daughters cutting coat hangers with them🤣
I’ve gotten got like that before lol!
good list , in addition to the m12 drill i would recommend the m12 impact driver too ...
Good call
Great video. Tool aid makes some pretty cool wiring tools like pistol grip strippers.
Quick draw strippers!
THIS is quality....
14.4v talk quality?
@@HifiVega unfortunately that’s a “no” close..... but no
I have a Klein tool you don't have but i don't use it anymore might have to send it your way
😃
Far as crimper and stripper, I've found I use the "auto" stripper more than I figured and it was bout 25 ish. Its a perfect n clean strip every time. Then Klein auto crimper with the 3 common sizes, absolutely perfect and CONSISTENT crimp. I don't use the amm1 as much as I thought I would of course but it is def great for measuring voltage drop ect but christ it turns off waaay to fast yo! Makes me crazy! Good Conte t bro thanks for sharing
Auto strippers are nice I’ve been using mine for a while now
@@HifiVega best thing about them is the complete perfect consistency, always a wonderful connection when not soldering. Keep em coming brotha n take care
You doin specialty tools next?
I probably need to
Got em all except the SMD stuff
I love em tho!
Good selection HiFi
Thanks
I’ve had all only have a multimeter nowadays 😂
Oh man you slippin!
