Honestly, the crap the writers and staff did to Kat was absolutely ridiculous - but don't let that turn you off from the series. I mean honestly it’s not worth it. None of the actors gain any income from people watching the show anymore. So it doesn’t benefit the actors in anyway. Unless you’re really into vampires, then go for it. Otherwise you’ll get bored because of the same cycles and routines.
