I've never had it not work, and I think I've done it with a dozen different loop builds with rads mounted ports down. Mounting rads like that makes draining the loop easier, which can be a real bitch when changing coolants, maintaining the loop and shit. It took me years to figure out a system that allows me to drain all the liquid from the loop except a little that will remain in the blocks, without taking anything apart. On a different, unrelated note; Remember kids, don't use any LTT videos as guides for watercooling. You might pick up a bunch of dumb, damaging and dangerous habits that will cause you problems in the future. I know of a couple people who thought flushing their loop with tapwater only before use, or using just distilled water as coolant without proper additives was okay thanks to LTT. I had to clean those loops, and it could've been avoided which makes it just so stupid.
I am new to water-cooling, I have a hardline system from OriginPC and I am trying to figure out how to drain my loop safely. Would you have a recommendation? I do not have a drain valve and I also notice in this video Linus did not install one either. Any advice would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance.

Wield this wisely, Linus. You're not the hero we deserve, you're the hero the humans should have; one that represents the vast majority of the world, an introduction to technology in a world bridging technology with the real world.
OOOH i love the hole idea in the mobo so you can pass through the RGB, I was thinking too maybe instead put a RGB connector header pin there or something right next to the CPU slot maybe near the fan header and then have a trace on the mobo bring it to the upper right or lower left corner of the board on the back or front where you can connect in to route the cable to the back of the case.

It took me years to figure out a system that allows me to drain all the liquid from the loop except a little that will remain in the blocks, without taking anything apart.
On a different, unrelated note;
Remember kids, don't use any LTT videos as guides for watercooling.
The best PC ever😆I love Corsair⛵❤️
Linus: I have always said that custom water cooling is the way to get it.
Linus: also has made a video called don’t water cool your pc
The Human that was not talking about custom loop water cooling tho .. that vid was regular Aio
I know
I'm curious of what do you do with all the pcs that you build 😂😂
They get taken apart and the parts they are able to keep get an ID number, then filed away. If they need any of the parts for a future build, they have them on hand.
3:32 When Yvonne (Linus's wife) wears sock and sandals.
Flagged as inappropriate. There is no Linus wife in this video.
KrotowX lol are you 5?
@@casualstar7 Add like 40+. However didn't seen Linus wife in this video anyway.

Gotta say, dayum the 570X is hot. I'm picking mine up next week!
You know I’m glad you guys did this water cooling in a 570x case. I just did my first build and went with the 570x cause I found a good sale and liked the aesthetic. So seeing this video really helped me with the cable management around the back (that and the revised psu shroud).
Is this Yvonne's build guide, Linus?
Definitely
It is way more detailed than any of his other builds.

Man you don't get how to make this meme do you?
It is just so satisfying watching Linus build PCs
Linus is the gateway drug to tech. He is the layman's man, if we were to be technical, for technology.
Wield this wisely, Linus. You're not the hero we deserve, you're the hero the humans should have; one that represents the vast majority of the world, an introduction to technology in a world bridging technology with the real world.

Corsair Makes great looking Equiptment
Not an ad here, but Corsair is one of very few brands that has yet to let me down. In the PC world, this is rare. Keep killin it!
Linus: "You can even save lights-out mode so it doesn't interrupt your sleep!"
Me: "I just turn my computer off and leave it in a separate room. Have I been computering wrong?"
Who else fainted when Linus “ or I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like RGB”
I don't like them either
