  • Back when I was 18 I wrote a song about God's forgiveness, based on Isaiah 1:18. After sharing it at a camp this weekend, I thought you guys might like to hear the full talk which we filmed back in 2018 or so.

Thank you brother Luke! In a hymn that I did write: Come Let Us Now Sing ( Melody:This Is My Father's World) I gave my testimony of my ropes, my chains I wore and how I preferred my prison dark, I preferred my sin not him! That was a new beginnings point for me. But Luke, I still at times continued to mess up; and, I wondered how many chances are you going to give? Is there a limit to your patience? And I heard him saying: You are a new creation and the former things are passed away. All things have been made new! And then this verse I share now I cling to: And man: It's working,! "He that has begun a good work in you, not if, not possibly, reasonably certain, NO: WILL SEE IT THROUGH TO COMPLETION! And so in my room I have words of promises from God! And gotta tell you: My life after all my former ropes and chains of bondage GONE: And like you testified all this has been cast into the deepest sea: And Pastor Luke: Jesus has set me FREE! ❤

Love your songs! Say a prayer for Springsteen. Although many of his songs are full of God/Christian references, he admitted in his last book that he is still unsure if there is a God. He needs are prayers to find the one true God before it is too late.

possibly one of the reasons I enjoy listening to you is that other than you have a gentle accent, you at least speak the same English as we do in Australia. I find the American change of English words somewhat irritating. We sing their songs with an English accent.
I really like this song of yours & have enjoyed it each time that you sing it & again it is probably because it is so Scriptural & so blessed by the Holy Spirit.
Also what you said about Jesus dying even if you were the only sinner I have often thought of BUT you blew me away when you went on to say then that means that you must have nailed his to the cross!! That part I had never thought about & it gave me pause as I could see Him looking at me - just like he looked at Peter when he denied him, so how could you go ahead & hammer a huge nail into his hand!! Thank you for today's encounter it certainly has me thinking about what you said. p.s. I listened to it twice...
