Emma Thompson and Gaia Wise's appearance on pass it on was definitely my favourite episode. The fact that they spoke so honestly and openly about what must have been a dreadful, frightening period in their lives, must have helped so many people struggling with this awful disorder. Plus they were effing hilarious! 🥰

My personal favorite has to be the slappy. Mike’s face when he realized Barry understood was everything😂
I think mine is Barry going "A potato.." while chewing on a strawberry. Something about the way it's cut and delivered just gets me lol
The slappy and the croquembouche are my 2 favorite episodes of Pass it On, something about Mike panicking and then somehow performing like a chef does the trick for me.
Can we please please have a Bells End Pub discussion where each of the guys tells us their favorite Episode of a theme.... their favorite pass it on, favorite battle, favorite gadgets..... it would be amazing to know how you all feel about all the amazing work you've done.

Thats because after so many years, they are learning what teamwork is... and maybe some cooking skills.
They need to do one where they use construction equipment, instead of cooking utensils. Like the one they did where they cooked as a group together for Ben, but has passed it on

Watching these consecutively really does show how much the normals have improved at cooking over the years. Less panicking, more deliberate actions, a bit better at adjusting on the fly.
1) every pass it on makes it clear why we love the format and appreciate the persistence!
2) Barry’s laugh is always refreshing and apt 😂
3) glad James is back for a spell !!! It feels like the avengers have fully assembled again!!

Watching some of the pass it on from years ago, just shows how much confidence and skills the normals have gained in the kitchen!
Edit: my favorite pass it on and one that I rewatch all the time is the pastry fail, it always makes me laugh so hard I cry
I havent seen these older pass-it-ons in a while, the skillz have definitely improved over the years. The chef skills battle seemed to help them nail down those basics.
I think it would be a really good episode if none of the cooks knew how long they had, Janice would suddenly just say “your time is up” and the next cook would start

My friend just had a baby, so I’m meal prepping a bunch of freezer meals for her and her hubby. I cannot tell you how perfect this upload was for me. Thanks for all the entertainment and inspiration you’ve given me across the years. Oh and to the behind the scenes crew 🩵
Not sure on how this would work but I'd love love to see a pass it on head to head at some point, chefs: Ebbers, Kush, James vs Jamie, Barry, and Mike; give them 10-20 minutes per person and see what they come up with. Maybe have a couple guests on as judges for the final result? Think that would be really fun to watch.
Emma gets so drunk during that episode 😂 I do like that in such a hectic game, the atmosphere is still relaxed enough that it doesn't matter.
Was so excited we thought this was the sorted guys watching the pass it ons back and talking about them. We loved that! Please bring that format back

This series is my favorite thing you do that I'm surprised no one else has stolen yet. The first few in this video really show me how much your normals are closer to cooks than they were even then. I never thought I'd say this but I'd love to see some normal personalities that are new and see how they do in some guest episodes until they're confident enough to be in a pass it on as a new normal

I forget about the Emma and Gaia PIO and forgot about her story was put on before the tasting. I have to say thank you for leaving it in. Seeing then made me think you might have cut it out but was pleasantly surprised.
It was also awesome to tell Mike to get out. Bloody hilarious.
I think a great idea for a future pass it on would be a pairs pass it on. You start with one pair for 10 minutes or maybe only like 7.5 mins, then one of them swaps with the next person, then after the time slot, the person who stayed last time swaps with the next person, and so on until everyone's been in the kitchen twice.

This compilation of pass it on gave us an intake on how to re-create these recipes with thorough planning. So how about having a series that you call “Pass it on BUT Planned” I think it would be a very good and funny intake on the failed recipes.
I love this. You've basically just recreated my usual Saturday morning chore background playlist. I think I've seen all the Pass It Ons, but maybe this will surface one I've missed.
If these continue, maybe the sets of episodes could be themed: overconfidence, victory from the jaws of defeat, most wasted time.
