What a beauty. When I was a kid in the early 80s, my dad owned both a TR7 and a TR8. I loved riding in those cars with the top down, with my dad blasting Come On Eileen and other hits of the early 80s.
I've had two TR7,s one was exactly to the same colour as yours but I fixed head. I have always wanted a TR8 but through circumstance it's never happened. Love yours it's absolutely beautiful.
Nice TR8 Tony! I have one of the last to roll out of Solihul. One of the 69 TR8’s designated as 1982 cars( CA in the VIN). Last dispatch date from the factory on Oct. 20, 1981. Two weeks after the factory closed on Oct. 6th. Enjoy it and never sell it!
I have a 1980 TR8 with EFI. A wonderful car. I believe BL only built around 2,700 examples. Most were carb. Not many fuell injected cars still on the road.
@@ride-ct-classiccars YES, I loved the look of the TR7/8, but I blew the engine and after I rebuilt the engine I sold it. NOW I'm driving a 2012 MX5 Miata. Love the drop top feel of freedom.
