I really appreciated your most helpful tutorial. Working on my homelight 45cc timberman. How long should I cut the rope length from the package before installing it? Thank you, you sure helped me. All the best from New Rochelle N.Y.
After l changed the snapped spring, l follow your instruction everything was ok till l tried starting it. There was only one kick over which wasnt enough to start it. It needs 4 kick overs to start. Where did l go wrong? l fooled around with for a while but, l coudnt work it out. Thank you for sharing such a helpful video :)
It sounds like you need to wind up the spring more before you install the rope. The only problem is the rope may be to short now. Thanks for watching!!!
@@gravelyman original spring is 12mm l just purchased a new one which they sent 6 mm ( l am trying to get them to send me 12mm) . l put this on anyway to see if its gonna work. Do you think it would be the problem?? thank you for helping me as well as a quick respond :)
grreat video..looks like you 1st try wound the spring wrong?? looked that way to me...stuff happens...everyday !...still a good video showing the parts and how to wind it all up,,,TY
Wow you kidding me. I not only wasted my time trying to do it backwards like you told me to do but I noticed my springs backwards which was actually correct. Maybe take the video off an redo it. Man appreciate the effort but your having people do it wrong over and over sir.
Thank you, my husband's had same exact situation, it took him until now to figure it out, with a little help from you, nd me for finding you
