Kmc used to be by far the best sleeves but they have changed their formula from what it was years ago. It sucks because even when dragon shield was at their best they were never as good as kmc was at their best
Man I wish This Video came out before I bought my sleeves I recently bought some miracle fusion sleeves from TCG player because hero are my favorite deck and I didn't have knowledge I have now about sleeves from watching your videos but I'm defently going start getting sleeves from that site especially when I start building Cyber Dragon as my second deck I defently got get flip tray thing you you use but that was very helpful video especially since I'm new to all this I wouldn't know we're to look for this stuff if it wasn't for you
I had this video on the back burned for like 2 months! Sorry I wish I got it out sooner! I never tried miracle sleeves before? How are they? I really like that flip tray. You can fit 2 decks in it and its high quality but not super expensive. Ultimate guard did well with that product. You can get off amazon but you can also find it off ebay or even the company website. Dragon shield/KMC/Ultimate guard all have their own sites too!
I love miracle fusion sleeves the design is pretty good unfortunately I look up review and I saw someone double sleeving there deck So I end up buying 2 set of the clear dragon shield to double sleeve them just in case I haven't had any bad experience with those sleeves but I wouldn't get them unless you're a hero fan like me and even than your better of with what you currently have
kmc it's the best for me, in my place, dragon shield is 8,19$, while kmc is 6$, i could renew my sleeve after 1 local tourtament and dont need to worry about my wallet 😂
This is a bit late, but dragon shields DO put the dimensions of the sleeves on the pack. They're on the right side of the box at the bottom. This isn't on the dual mattes though for some reason.
My go to are the orange sleeves.....ince i had a major crush on Charizard as a kid...till this day my decks have orange sleevs all 3 of them.......i don't really care about the company only to be orange.. I tried to have white sleevs on Cyber Dragons but i have to clean them often so oranges a nice color pleasing to the eye.....and well Charizard
I know, old comment. How do you deal with the opacity of them? I got some orange dragon shields and I can see the Yugioh text on the cardback through them, afraid I'll get a judge call for marked cards.
Does anybody know if Ultimate Guard’s Katana purple japanese size sleeves will be available for purchase again? Like, if you’ve bought them before, do you know when they usually restock sleeves?
The quality control of Ultra Pro has steadily gotten better over time. If you tried the sleeves 10 or 5 years ago, you can tell the difference at each time interval. It's half the price, you get what you paid for.
Greetings mate, I have to say; good topic. been thinking about some better sleeves for quite some time. Actually I'm one of the ultra pro customers :x I have about 60 different deck types so most of the time I just want some moderat protection and Ultra Pro used to be my choice. I still have some of the MAMA Sleeves, but I was looking for something different. Problem is, I rarely find any sleeves with nice covers and even if I do, most times they are pretty expensive for some sleeves. I'm talking like 20 to 30 bugs for 50 sleeves... If you got anything in that direction as well, I would appreaciate it. Maybe you even could get something sponsored ;)
Sup mannn. Broo $30 for sleeves in expensive even if there art on it. I like having basic sleeves but I understand the ones with art are cooler. I reached out for some sponsors but i dont know if I want that the more i think about it. For artwork sleeves though, I do not know many good brands. Unless KMC or Dragon shield have some sleeves with arts but I do not think they do
Art sleeves usually suck qualitywise. However I definitely can recommend the Japanese size Dragon Shield Outer Sleeves. They are specifically made to sleeve over art sleeves to keep them protected. So this might be an option for you 😊
hmm i would say it helps slow down the bending but not completely prevent. I would buy the hard plastic toploaders to fully prevent bending! The sleeves can only do so much.
yes the yugioh sleeves are the Japanese sleeves. I am not 100% sure why however i think the way Dragon Shield markets the Yugioh sleeves is to call them Japanese sleeves. The normal perfect fit Dragon Shield sleeves are for MTG/Pokemon cards. They will be too big for yugioh cards
haha yea it gets a little confusing. All the links in the description will fit yugioh cards. Those are affiliate links however feel free to just copy and paste the name of the sleeves into the Google search! Let me know if u have other questions!@@danp4725
am i the only one who hasnt gotten those particular ultra pro sleeves? i know they make/used to make it where the ultra pro logo would be on the very top left...and those are the ones i like. but im not picky, and maybe they feel the same as the ones mentioned here....but i do like those other ultra pro ones with the logo on the top left..i think they look nice
all the ultra pros i have bought had that sticker. Maybe they make a sleeve without them but I never seemed to buy them! haha. Yea nothing wrong with the sticker, just my personal preference that I dislike it
What is the best sleeve for binder collection? I dont care about shuffling or using it for duels. Just need to know the best ones in terms of protection and clarity that will make the foil cards pop in the binder, please reply thanks. Edit: also i will not be double sleeving just single sleeve.
I personally double sleeve with yugioh sized kmc sleeves and then standard sized matt black kmc sleeves. For the binder sleeves that I use, the magic/pokemon sized sleeves fit well in the binder sleeves itself and the perfect fit yugioh sleeve ensures the card stays oriented in the larger sleeve. If I just put the yugioh sleeved card into the binder, it will fall out. If I only have the card sleeved in a standard size, the yugioh card rotates within the sleeve. I talk about it somewhere in this video. Apologizes it is long. ruclips.net/video/Ryw_Rx8xvyM/видео.html It depends on the binder you use however this is what I do. For the sake of clarity of the card, double sleeving with these sleeves in the binder looks presentable in my opinion. Single sleeved will also look crisper than 2, however the protection double sleeving offers and keeping the card in place is why i prefer it
@@grimreaper9477 oo nice! I have a small binder like that however it is from ultra pro. In that binder i use perfect fit yugioh sleeves only and they do not slip out. Those binders hold the cards in much better. Single sleeving is fine
what would be the best sleeves for holographic cards primarily for display purposes to allow the holographic art to pop and become more vibrant or at least a sleeve that doesn't hinder the holo quality and pop?
HMM that is a good question. I am not 100% sure however for me personally, I would want a sleeve that is clear as possible so the original art is shown best. So like any perfect fit sleeve would be my choice however I think you are looking for a better answer. I am not sure if any sleeves really make a card pop.
@@nostalgicnighthawk thanks my dude that will suffice. I did some more research and as long as I get a clear sleeve like you mentioned and it's not quoted as anti glare it should allow the holographic properties to remain. :)
Not sure if you've found your answer yet. But Konami official sleeves are so clear, as if the card isn't even sleeved Downside is they can get fingerprinted, so prob better for collection than duelling
i have been doing the kmc perfect fits with KMC hyper matts. Perfect fir dragon shields are pretty good too. Just double check the sizing before you buy!
Katana masterrace I bought 10 packs of dragon shield orange sleeves a couple months ago and they were horrible. They smelled like sht(still do) sttaight outa the box and the qc was super off. Almost every sleeve in every pack had sth wrong with it and it varied from pack to pack. I burned like 60 euro on them 🤨 Never again dragon shield, never again
@@nostalgicnighthawk I guess the whole batch that seller had was fcked up. You couldnt tell just by looking at the pack but after you open it it hits you.
