Go grab a cheap sewing machine off of eBay, Amazon, or Letgo! It's super easy and really fun, you just gotta start. That's what I did and I found these videos and they remind me a lot of what I do with my thrift finds haha

Ok, April, I'd like to see you do something with beading techniques or appliques on sheer fabric. I'm a SUPER beginner sewer, but I have had a design in my head for YEARS, and now that I have a sewing machine, I must get it out! I have looked online to maybe BUY something at least similar, but there's nothing out there, at least not in the color I want, so I resolved to just make it myself. It's going to be a top. But not just any top, it's a Bollywood-type top and I want to wear it to a Kpop concert (to blend my loves for Kpop and Bollywood into one complete experience, lol)! I found a picture of it in a pink top and pantset version in a movie called Agent Vinod (link: www.indicine.com/movies/bollywood/new-stills-of-kareena-kapoor-in-agent-vinod/ ). Now I know it's going to take a while to make since I have to learn HOW to do it first, lol, but I have YOU as my sewing guru, so I know I can't fail!! So if you thrift ANYTHING WITH BEADING/APPLIQUES, please make a video and share as many tips as possible!! Thanks so much!!

Isn't it easier sewing the parts together without them bunching together😅? The shirt looks beautiful though, I'll think of giving this one a go!

I have a bright orange shirt that I've never worn and I doubt I ever will, so I'm trying to find something to do with it. I always have costumes left from dances and performances, then they go to the back of the wardrobe and never see them again, so I'm looking for things I can do with some of the weird and wacky garments I own.
