Why won't Marvel do anything with Forge?

- In many ways Forge represents a character with tremendous upside; checking the box on all forms of representation. Yet the character continues to be largely ignored and pushed into the back. Why?

Forge in his purest form is a writing tool that helps push the storyline in ways that help the writer take the story to a place where the writer wants to go . He is linked to just about everything cerebro , the blackjet , the danger room , time travel device from days of future past.
Forge is like that actor who gets best supporting role. You know it took me awhile to figure it out , but i think Forge would make a very good Sorceror Supreme. Mixing tech , with magic. He would literally be a Good Dr Doom.
They should just write story's that are cool and fun...not everything has to connector cross reference something else...just write an entertaining story..
Forge is very complicated. Hes almost two distinctive characters in one. Hes a futuristic technology wizard. Hes also a native American shaman who protects rrality from primitive spiritual forces...he loves women who seem vulnerable. But cant tolerate empowered self confident women...hes one of X-Men s most literary and underutilized characters. At this point im guessing marvel dosent recognize his Vietnam war history as forge whoulda be 60 or 70 at this point....this whould make writers stay away from Forge as they're is too many inconsistencies in his history to write fun storys..
Forge is amazing, and Life Death 1 and 2 are must read comics. They are works of art. Forge could kick Tony's ass in a arms/machine race but that technopathy is his mutant gift, if he were to be stripped of his powers he'd be SOL. The "shaman" stereotype I don't see that big of a issue, tiresome perhaps, but if Claremont only wrote Forge as a drunk I could see why that'd upset people. Forge would be a dangerous guy, who could have AIM, SHIELD, etc. after him if he built the wrong thing(s).
I like Forge, he's been underutilized and underdeveloped for a while now.
LifeDeath was an amazing comic storyline ( it was from 1984)
I can't say I've been pining for Forge, but you're 100% correct: he has a lot of potential.
Captain Atom is one of my favourite superheroes, but it's been a long time since I've seen him done well.
I am surprised Mr Pokda Dot , Blood Sport ,and Peacemaker got live action before Forge and Captian ⚛️
Forge/Storm/Windsor-Smith has stayed with me all these years. The tone of the narrative together with the art was so, so perfect.
It became a massive influence in my work and I would give my right leg to make a Forge film (pun intended - if rather cheap, I know).
Anyway, very pertinent topic about a much overlooked character!
I love Forge. He’s underused but so much more interesting than half of the huge X cast.
Fprge was the leader of XFactor for awile...
Added Sabletooth, Shard, Whole child , and Mysteric on Government X Factor which is not popular by fans and Forge is leader is not popular by fans prefer Havok as leader than him . X Factor adding new members last min are Fixx, Greystone, Archor and Havok become leader again as of results Forge is back up and Quit the group before Demised of X Factor and it cancelled for good.
Seems like he's been very much forgotten.
They could think outside the box, and trade him to DC for one of their underused characters. DC can give a Green lanterns ring meshed with his natural Mutant abilities and watch him take off.🚀

I've been thinking the same thing for many years, and couldn't agree more with this video.
I will post this here, I bet Forge is “Cadmael.” That is the name of the casting choice Disney is auditioning indigenous actors for. I assume all
of this of course. One can be hopeful :)

With X men universe merge with MCU due to Loki introducing multi verse of MCU.
MCU needs live action Strong Guy , Havok, and Forge, and Multiple Man and Mint Milana Squirrel Girl come to life .
I agree Forge is totally underutilized.
Wasn't the original intent for th edevice that stripped Storm of her powers to detect Dire Wratih? I maybe remember it wrong but the whole remove mutant powers was a unintended effect of the weapon.

Yep very underused and that's a shame. Love the character. Other underused are dr nemesis, maverick, theres loads!!!
I like Forge (not with ORORO) he currently has mystiro 's body parts in jars, he may be getting attention in a big way soon.From WHAT i remember he wasn't aiming at STORM with that power dampening gun,he called HIMSELF aiming at Rogue. Have we ever seen Forge and moon star of the new MUTANTS have a conversation?JUST SAYING.
