      Bring carabinas. It's a lifesaver because you can clip it to your bag or at the hostel dorm room. And a tote or small packable backpack. And a big light scarf is key. Hope you have fun.

    I have the same pack and took it through Europe for two weeks and it was amazing. I'll never bring more than one bag ever again! Also... I had that experience with eating Indian food from a mall in Australia once. OMG it was so bad lol. Definitely an unforgettable experience ha

    Thanks for this video - very helpful. I go backpacking for a year in 25 days and I’m going to watch it a few times to help me sort a packing list! Only taking one carry on bag + no idea how I’m going to fit it all in with camera included 😅

    Also in your other video, it's so weird to hear a western person saying water in Asia is dirty... We have filtered drinking water (not tap water lol) and our shower water goes through filter too (not for drinking). Even when I visit the states, I still need my drinking water filtered, not tap, because it's cleaner. So how can you say ours is dirty? Such a strange statement... We aren't super underdeveloped yaknow. Unless you're going to the provinces/remote locations.

    Leaving in a week for Thailand! How was flying your drone in Thailand? I’m thinking of bringing mine but it takes quite a lot of space. I have the same backpack, hope I get half the stuff in there that you did!

    Sunscreen is hard to get in Asia? I live and travel around Asia all the time. It's common to have sunscreen in beauty/drugstors here, because the beauty culture here is kinda weird - people like to have lighter skin. So sunscreen isn't hard to find at like Watsons or any drugstore. And no, there's no bleach WTF. FDA wouldn't even approve that here lol. "Whitening" sunscreen is just brightening or has a white case. If you don't like that, just get a regular sunscreen. Sunscreen is to protect you at the end of the day.
    Please don't listen to her. Her bag video is entertaining, but some comments are just... not it. Please talk to your Asian friends who actually live or lived at Asia. Our FDA cosmetic shit is stricter in Asia FYI. So what you find at legit drugstore/ beauty stores are all approved by the FDA. No fucking bleach. that's so dangerous wtf.

    @TatianaBoyd - Hold on a sec, you took some pics on film??? (16:05) Does this mean you carried an additional film camera? Wow, I haven't used film since around 2004, when I bought my first digital SLR (Canon EOS 10D). I'd be curious to hear why you took some film pics, considering how good digital cameras are these days (as I know you know). Perhaps you could do a video someday to explain it in detail. Just an idea. 😊

      as a gen z i think we just like the vibe and the physical copy of a memory. Its what we grew up with and feels really personal and nice because we can’t care what we look like or how perfect the picture is.

    • @charlie_on_a_plane
      @charlie_on_a_plane Год назад

      @@assiv4k Thanks for your explanation. As a Gen-X, I had film prints for more than half of my life, so found digital pics much more exciting when they first appeared. But, I can see how the younger generations might find digital to be blasé. You'll note, though, that Tatiana never mentioned a film camera in her list of items. I wonder what camera she used...? 🤔

    Don't you wish the bag had more organisation? Looks like you have to remove a lot of stuff to get to the packing cube then U have to take out what you want and repack the bag..

    Good video but I am a retired man so the way you pack is not for me most packing reviews are from women. The boys packing videos wear t-shirts, shorts sandals and flip-flops. I am 6ft and 220 lbs. Mostly button down shirts or a couple polos. And chinos and jeans maybe 1 pair of shorts and swim trunks. My shoe size is 11w. So get all this in carry-on that meets Asian airlines weight limit of 15 lbs. is difficult. I refuse to fly on USA brand airlines. Northern Thailand is great but most boys go to Pattaya to play, for me no way. Vietnam is great. Indonesia I enjoyed. And China I think I could live there politically no issues. Now relicated to the Philippines with my wife, she traveled with me. These other counties have much better than the Philippines which I do not understand and English is not spoken as many say it is. We live in Cebu City and her parents are in the province about 2 hour. She ask if we can move there. I enjoy Asian countries. Most European countries hate the Americans and France dispise Americans as I was sent there as a tech rep on aircraft and never seen so many arrogant anti-americans. Nothing redeeming there.
