It's kind of weird to say, but even though you don't upload daily or weekly, every video you upload feels like reuniting with an old friend, and we continue where we left off. I love your vibe, Sophie. ❤
Having tons of plants is nice and is good for your health in your home! I am glad you have been working out the things in your new place, and I see you have your childhood jewelry music box that you mentioned previously shown in this video again. I love farmer's markets. We don't have them here until Memorial Day weekend, I believe. Meal prep is fun and I also love cooking for others. I cooked a new meal yesterday for my family and it is so nice when they say, "Wow this is really good! I hope you'll make it again!" Keep enjoying the journey you are on! You asked what we do to keep our lives together. I believe having goals and being able to find things to be thankful for is what I do to keep my life together. Finding simple joys in life. Things like that.
Little nuggets I picked up along the way while watching today's video: 1. You don't need to have everything figured out. 2. Never postpone joy. 3. Share the simple joy's of life with the people you love. 4. Adjustment takes time, go with the flow as you navigate. 5. Life will always be somewhat of mess, embrace it.
"Don't judge a fish by it's ability to fly" isn't that a cool line just goes to the heart of acceptance and appreciation for things as they are not necessarily as we want them to be. Theres real beauty to be found in that thought space 😊
After living with family and friends for 2 years, we are due to move into our first home as home owners any day now. Your videos inspire me that less is more. I am so excited to open boxes of our things that have been sealed for so long, partly to surround myself in home comforts, but also to choose carefully how I want my space to be, and what I will keep with me into this next chapter in our lives. We moved from UK to the Isle of Man to chase our dream and never looked back. It’s nice to give myself time to celebrate what we’ve achieved rather than always focusing on what’s next ❤
That's so exciting to be in that phase! And the Isle of Man sounds blissful. I've also been living with family for almost a year and I'm very looking forward to be able to create a space of my own where to carefully choose what to bring in with intention, creating my happy safe bubble as I noticed how much I need a place with my own energy where to retreat and create from and how hard it is when you live in other people's spaces ! xx
Dear Sophie! I'm struggling with anxiety since last 2 years and your videos bring so much peace in my life I can't even describe in words. Of course the lessons you convey and your experiences are valuable too but just watching you do something or even relaxing brings so much peace and tranquility in my life that even meditation doesn't bring. I can never be grateful enough to you for doing this, but still Thank you so much ❤
I've been having major anxiety the past few years as well, and I have begun a habit of watching one of her videos as soon as I wake up to help ease my anxiety. It's a lovely way to start the day with peaceful intention❤ wishing you all the best with managing your anxiety 💕
I’ve questioned my direction in life many times. It’s taken a long time but I’ve got to the stage where I just accept where I’m at with the knowledge that I’m doing the best I can in each moment. It might not feel like it but believe we are always learning and growing, which is all we can ask. Thanks for your videos Sophie. I find them very calming and soothing in a world that seems very loud and busy.
"Never postpone joy"..I needed to hear that today. Great reminding us Sophie. Always look forward to your videos, it's an inspiration for me. Bring so much positive vibes and you being authentic❤❤❤
Your voice is so soothing & relaxing I love your videos it helps me a lot to feel good about myself and thanks for the tips and advice about how life is and how to take slow
I appreciate how you go to the market on Saturday to put some regularity into your life. As a retired person, I absolutely understand how the days can all blend together if you don't have some signposts.
Really lovely. ❤ Getting my life together boils down to 4. things. 1. Eating healthy so I am physically and mentally fresh. 2. Mending my life when it feels torn. Just like a hole in a dress that i mend, I do the same for areas of my life that seem stagnant. I allow myself to enjoy it, see it with a new perspective and embellish it before deciding it’s not working. 3. Being really, really, deeply grateful for everything, including the hard stuff. 4. Loving people and allowing people to love me.
I am so happy for you getting settled once again, life should never be stagnant Each day should be a delight, because life is so delicate and short. Enjoy to the fullest 🌹
i love this, and thank you for this reminder! I recently was part of company-wide layoffs, and I've just been hustling to find the next right move...but I've also realized that this change is probably good for me and will be pivotal in my career and life. I've enjoyed the new "freedom," and I'm also trying to just enjoy this phase in life of slowing down :)
Aloha Sophie! I wanted to tell you that you're one of the few RUclipsrs that inspired me on my YT journey. I remember in your earlier vids you would say how it was a little awkward to talk to the lens (paraphrasing) and how Covid pushed you to stop holding off on YT, but look at you now. So calming! And awesome how you say you're eager, but not rushing it, enjoying the progress. And food is a great love language! I hope others share your love language with you!🤙👍😋 P.S.. Just an FYI, Kailua and Lanikai Beach are great to jog on weekdays before 9am. Only older ppl walking their dogs are there when I go.
So lovely to be watching your video again. I’m so happy that you’re settling into your new home. Enjoyed listening to your perspective on life. Keep going! Much love 🌼🌸
Hello Sophie🌺 I'm happy to see a new video! I love your thoughts, words, how do you see the world, and the way you make your videos Thank you for your inspiration ❤ Much Love Anni☀️
Couldn’t agree more, we are always transitioning with the new growth, expansion, movement is what we need. You simplify this beautifully 😊 Health and wellbeing is the gift and the rest will flow. I too love farmers markets, lets keep supporting the small businesses always and good produce. Now to make a new plan. ❤ thank you x
This was such an inspiring and relatable video. Often I find myself postponing joy, so I needed this gentle reminder to let myself be happy now 💚 Something I do to get my life together is by just following a schedule or habits even if it's super simple, such as waking at a certain time and making the bed before breakfast, opening my blog before browsing the internet, and reading a page before I brush my teeth at night. You look stunning as always 💚 Long distance is hard, so well done to you and your husband for enduring that 💚
Hi Sophie! I live in LV, and retired Law enforcement eight years ago. Finding your channel is such perfect timing as I’m preparing to sell my condo and move to Asia-Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia…I want to see many different countries! So, my routine now involves morning meditation and prayers, Qi Gong, separating clothes to be donated, watching RUclips videos like yours, playing piano, walks in the park. Thank you for such beautiful words and content…I miss Hawaii! Respect ❤
Dear Sophie, Thank you! 💞 You don't know how much I needed to hear everything in this vlog. I listened to it over and over, took notes too. Every word you said seem to be all valuable and a very important item to take note of. I truly appreciate how your thoughts help in putting structure to anyones's "messy" life. It is a fact. It is a journey. Thank you for being my gentle angel to guide me through this whole process. Love, Minnie 💜
Welcome "home" - while the 808 has it's own issues and such, my worst days here in the islands are more enjoyable than the my best days anywhere else still 4 decades later...so far!
Felt chilled out just watching this…😊. I’ve kind of come to this conclusion myself… the more I try to chase perfection the more unhappy I feel. Enjoying cooking again too. Don’t even feel the need to put the television on when I get home from work which is such a habit.
Place your faith on Jesus. Jesus died so that you can have everlasting life. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No one gets to the Father but by him. Trust Jesus. Repent. Call Out to Jesus Now Have a good day
Sophie, Your soothing voice and calm words really soothe my soul. I was surprised to see you back in Hawaii, but admit that I love the gorgeous scenery in your videos❤️ And can we talk about your hair? 🌹
My life is not together at all 😅 We’re long term traveling with our boys and it’s actually cheaper to eat out here, than it is to grocery shop and prep food at home (we’re on Thai islands). We move from place to place a LOT, and are actually going to visit family and friends for the summer in Canada- so I’m excited for some grocery shopping and meal prepping like you are 😁
Thank you, Sophie for posting another Vlog. I always enjoy watching and listening to new topics that you present. Glad to have you back on RUclips and look forward to more frequent/consistent videos from you. ❤️
”Maybe getting my life together will be a balancing act”’ resonated with me more than I want to admit. 😅 But truthfully, I admire your willingness to change and embrace new things, even when it’s not easy. I think we as humans always want to feel connected, to a place, other people, environments… Letting go of them and allowing new worlds to enter our old ones is true strenght. Wishing you a peaceful transition.
I have been waiting for this!!! Love all your videos and especially how you document while also sharing your thoughts and experiences! So lovely!! Lots of love
Hi Sophie, it's so good to see you again😊. There is no one right answer for how to get one's life together... Sometimes I only have enough strength to breathe and let the time go, other times I am more proactive and I set myself goals and I plan how to achieve them. The important thing for me is to take one step at a time and everything will work out eventually, it always does 😊
I felt that sadness and longing. And yes, go with the flow is the way to go. Life is beautiful, right here, right now - so what I do is make more moments and memories with my family, care for and walk my dog, go camping and sleepover with friends. I'm also in a long-distance for almost 3 months with my bf - so while waiting for him to come back I plan fun adventures and buy little gifts for him to feel extra excited for his return. I feel like if life is too perfect and all set - it would feel so boring and empty. It's true that challenges and difficulties teach us new lessons and help us grow gracefully. Sophie, thanks for sharing this video as it reminds me that I'm not alone and every one has their own battles. Let's take it slow and believe that all things work together for good. Virtual hugs. -Diane
I'm loving your videos so far and subscribed after 2 videos. The sound of your voice is so beautiful, peaceful and healing. I could listen to you talk all day.
I admire your bravery and flexibility. I have watched your journey. It broke my heart knowing you have given up what you have worked hard on. Seeing you uploading new videos again makes me realized that you have healed and slowly moving forward. Sometimes our plan doesn't go as perfectly as what we have imagined. I wish you nothing but happiness, and peaceful mind and heart.
Thank you for the video ❤ and you were missed here so I look forward to hearing more often from you! 😍 What I want to finally get to is give myself permission to be happy in any form which works for me, not other people. You always help me find balance when I lose it on my way. It's like hearing a good friend say: your dreams are good and you're normal. ❤️
Such a great video, Sophie! Well, I have been getting my life together since I was 18. Now, I am 57 and am enjoying creating a peaceful, slow living experience since I stopped working a couple years ago. I love all of the ideas you share with us on how you are feeling the joy each day, love your quote.. I want to start exercising to take better care of my health. So, with that and identifying a few experiences that I want in my life now will become my routine and become how I get my life together. Sending lots of love!
Hi Sophie 👋, First off, it’s great to see that you, your husband, and your dogs have safely made it back to Hawaii! As for me, my journey of getting my own life together is currently a work in progress. But more importantly, I feel fulfilled and content with the way it’s happening simply by me learning to be present and enjoy going with the flow. Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗
I am currently in the process of getting my life together. I've had a really rough year. I went through some of the worst anxiety and depression of my life due to my toxic work environment. I am ready to move forward and embrace life. I am ready to just be real with myself and get excited about life again. I just turned 32 in January and I am excited for the future and for everything that I am going to accomplish. I am just ready for a fresh start and ready to take on life. There are areas of my life that I've always struggled with and I kind of just accepted that its always going to be a struggle for me but I changed my mindset around certain things that I feel is necessary and I told myself just because I've always struggled doesn't mean I will struggle my whole life. I need to find a system or better habits to make this part of my life better and the change is necessary. I'm glad I told myself this because I was starting to feel like a failure in a lot of areas of my life. I am going to live a life good life and that starts now. No more excuses just action steps and giving myself grace.
HAPPY to see you getting settled SIS. On the daily I create space for myself to really enjoy moments. Painting is my go-to which allows for mindfulness. The pups are so adorable 😍
I REALLY appreciate these videos. My one request would be to post more. I have been going through a life transition for two years now with little progression towards what I hoped would have already come into fruition. It has taken me on a roller coaster of emotions, including feelings of depression, ashamed, embarrassed, failure, grateful, happy, appreciative, and much more. There is intense pressure to make it big in the corporate world, not only from society, but even from those closest to us: our own families and friends. We each have our own unique path. I wish one day, there would be a universe where our worth wasn't measured by what we do (careers), how hard we push ourselves to achieve better outcomes, or sacrificing our own lives to 'make it big,'but rather measured in how we give back to the world, to nature, and to the greater good for humanity. What a difference that would be... Thank you again for these videos. In listening to them, I feel I am not alone. ❤
Dear Sophie, I really admire your content, thank you for sharing your wisdom. Another thing that I like about your videos is your audio. It's really pleasant to listen to. If it's okay to ask, may I know what mic you use please? Thank you.
I love that you wear the bad saying “less is more“ :) Thank you for this video! I love the minimalist aestetics, the beauty in every shot you made and of cause, your message 💚
What do I do to get my life together? I watch your videos because they remind me of what I value in my heart most! Funny how the more consistently I have Quiet time in the mornings with breathing meditation, prayer, journaling, taking time to water the plants and swim it creates more space between my crowded overdoing thoughts and more time in my day for others instead of less. When I am calm, I am more productive and more giving. Your videos bring out the real me that so often gets lost in the distractions of life
Love your voice so much.. it’s soothing and touching. Also it’s beautiful how you narrate story . I love your storytelling style.. words flow like a river. Loved place you are .. is it Portugal? Keep sharing videos they are like soothing pearls❤❤
So good to see you again. You've got such a soothing voice. Once more I'll write down in my journal something you say in your videos. This time the quote is "Never postpone joy." Thank you Sophie. ❤🙏
I just looked up my monthly dividend pay from my high yield bond investment. It is double what I receive from Social Security monthly so that is very rewarding. I also make sure I get a batch of cherries or pre-sliced cantaloupe or honey dew melon. I discovered a carrot juice (bolthouse farms) product with not a bit of pulp. They say it helps prevent inflammation, too but it is so good to drink. I left my spearmint aroma oil for peppermint. In Winter I switch to pine/fir oils. Coffee tables are a weak point in the home furnishings industry. I bought adjustable height round tempered glass end tables with tri-legged chrome base (like a snare drum) and they've held up over 20 years. Bernhardt makes non-disposable quality tables but I like the openness more, so no coffee table. Overall, people are still recovering from the Covid shut-down and I read horror stories on YELP before I select a dentist or plummer. But, like Amazon reviews, there's always risk.
I only buy produce from farmer’s market if I’m going to grow more food with it. Fruits & veggies at farmer’s market are way too expensive as meal-preppers, but propagating from them usually result in food that exceeds the quality of any other methods (I.e., packets seeds or store-bought groceries). Farmer’s market: for farming!
I’ve just discovered your channel - love your content! I am curious what line of work your husband is in. It’s great that it affords him such fantastic opportunities (and clearly he must be good at his job!).
Just looked for one of your videos for a little inspiration to start the day in the vibe I wanted. Actually planning a move and going with the flow as everything is quite incertain at the moment : ) Let's go with the flow! 😉
It's really true that change dies open up ways to grow. All the changes I've had, each one was extremely valuable and, as I prefer to look at it, as an adventures. Life should be an adventure, not predictable and routine year after year. Although that's an opinion, as I know people who are perfectly content that way. I don't find them interesting though, and I can't share my experience and insights with them, which is depressing. I kind of fell into lots of major changes unexpectedly, and that in itself is pretty interesting. Maybe life came to me at that point and let me know what I needed. I know I needed to change, but one day it just dawned on me that this was the moment. And then many more big changes and moves and jobs came after that tremendously shaped me. It got wild sometimes, but you can't have an adventure without risk and a certain amount of danger. Anyway, I'm happy to see you in another chapter and continuing to grow. You're still so very young really, relatively speaking. You'll have so many more opportunities after already having done a lot and transformed a lot. I don't know what my future holds, as I'm just taking care of my elderly parents and enjoying (with lots of challenge) my last year's with them. Then another chapter will unfold. Possibly a move to a cheaper foreign country.
Blessings to you Sophie, please keep the slow living in an island coming... I know EXACTLY what you are talking about...I am in the same exact situation right now. I am packing, decluttering, organizing for my move over seas at the start of 2024. I came out to my current place 10 yrs ago with a plan, a dream, a life I hoped to achieve and it did not go as planned at all, and It has taken some time to accept that, and that not all dreams are meant to come true. So moving on from that realization I am moving back home but with a new perspective and appreciation for the place, and the excitement of making a real life for myself now that I can finally let go of the TEMPORARY mentality I have lived in all my life. decades of living out of a suitcase or a box trying to find the perfect place where I would feel I belong is finally phased itself out of my system and I am so grateful for this enlightenment. Life & home is really where you hang your hat and this year is not filled with excitement of shopping, adventuring, social life, this year is filled with selling, decluttering, lots of planning, packing, arrangements, house hunting, cleaning, working tons of overtime and looking forward to an even more simpler life around family and old friends and the anticipation of exploring home once again with a new purpose. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO...I DIDN'T EVEN REALIZE I NEEDED THIS. much love :)
@@juliafisher5844 Good luck to as well love. Its not easy and it can be a bit overwhelming but I find that keeping my focus on the goal motivates me every day. Blessings to you.
Trying really hard to live in the present and go with the flow. I’m a college student and haven’t figured out anything yet and honestly, I don’t want to as I don’t wanna participate in the rat race. To my surprise I have improved a lot on balancing things and not to worry too much about future. During the journey I have noticed you become whom you surround yourself with. It’s highly crucial to chill along with like-minded people to have positive energy. Anything negative you name it from media consumption, politics to two-faced relatives, I just try not to drain my energy by these and brush them off with a smile. Also, if things go crazy, I journal! This is so healing. And most important of all, my sincere connection with God throughout the day but specially I like to pour my heart out to God from midnight to dawn which is a precious time for Muslims. Trust me this late night talks, crying and sometimes just sitting on the prayer mat is comforting to the soul. To everyone, there’s their own way of dealing life. Thank you Malama for sharing positivity! ❤
Honestly the cookie place in Portimão still live rent free in my mind. IMUST GO BACK! Honestly I 100% agree with everything you say on this video ❤️ you are such a beautiful soul! Forever greatwful our paths crossed ❤️
i wish i had a life where I'm soo financially free that i can rest and feel happy in a comforting neighbourhood. your videos bring peace to my hectic life. I'm happy that you are living a beautiful life. Best of luck
Olá Sophie, obrigada por gostares de Portugal, Portugal também gosta de ti. ❤ Quando o destino quiser voltarás. Muito agradecida pelas tuas partilhas tão bonitas.
Sophie, thanks for sharing the beauty of your videos. I'm looking forward to seeing your videos from the islands again. I lived there when i was young and it takes me back. Also your gentle calm way is lovely. It seems we have no idea where our life will go. So, letting go and responding to the new opportunities seems like a good response. ❤

Repent. Call Out to Jesus Now
Have a good day
Sophie,
Your soothing voice and calm words really soothe my soul. I was surprised to see you back in Hawaii, but admit that I love the gorgeous scenery in your videos❤️ And can we talk about your hair? 🌹
Welcome to your new home and place my loveliest Sophie🩷🌷 Hope you enjoy every little moment with your beloved ones 💕🐶🐶 Thank you for always sharing😻😻
Finally a video! Missed you so much! Hug the dogs for me! 🤩
Aw thank you!
Such a lovely video with lovely msg. NEVER postpone JOY. Trying to embrace the life as it is. Thank you for this.❤
❤️😍
My life is not together at all 😅 We’re long term traveling with our boys and it’s actually cheaper to eat out here, than it is to grocery shop and prep food at home (we’re on Thai islands). We move from place to place a LOT, and are actually going to visit family and friends for the summer in Canada- so I’m excited for some grocery shopping and meal prepping like you are 😁
Love the beach
Omg shorts❤
I love your content! You inspire me so much
Thank you ❤️
Love to see your dogs in your videos❤️
Thanks for sharing wisdom.
I absolutely love your voice. You tone is so calming. I love your videos. I am 72 and I earn a lot with you. I wish you a lot of luck.
Thank you so much
Enjoy your new chapter girl.🍹🌊🌅
Thank you, Sophie for posting another Vlog. I always enjoy watching and listening to new topics that you present. Glad to have you back on RUclips and look forward to more frequent/consistent videos from you. ❤️
Thank you for watching 😍
The important thing for me is to take one step at a time and everything will work out eventually, it always does 😊
Love your approach 😁
Thank you for being such a calming element in my life💛
❤️ thank you for watching
So glad to see you Sophie❤
I really missed your videos, so inspiring, peaceful with beautiful views!
Thank you for supporting me ❤️
I felt that sadness and longing. -Diane
Exactly what i wanted to watch today ❤ hope your new daily life has been wonderful ✨️
Yout content is so refreshing and so simple ❤
Thank you ❤️
The color of the ocean … 🥺 a need
So beautiful
This is life... going with the flow, noticing these little nudges that life gives you to walk a different way... maybe it leads you to your dreams 🙂
Been a silent subscriber. Your vids heals my anxiety. Thanks!Philippines 🇵🇭
I'm loving your videos so far and subscribed after 2 videos. The sound of your voice is so beautiful, peaceful and healing. I could listen to you talk all day.
Happy to see you back 🙂. Where are you located now ? I think I missed it in the video
In Hawaii. Island of O'ahu
Love your videos! :)
Thanks so much
I admire your bravery and flexibility.
What I want to finally get to is give myself permission to be happy in any form which works for me, not other people. You always help me find balance when I lose it on my way. It's like hearing a good friend say: your dreams are good and you're normal. ❤️
❤️😍
I'm happy you're back in Hawaii so I can see the scenery
Such a great video, Sophie! Well, I have been getting my life together since I was 18. Now, I am 57 and am enjoying creating a peaceful, slow living experience since I stopped working a couple years ago. I love all of the ideas you share with us on how you are feeling the joy each day, love your quote.. I want to start exercising to take better care of my health. So, with that and identifying a few experiences that I want in my life now will become my routine and become how I get my life together. Sending lots of love!
Sending you love back ❤️
Thank you Sophie! You're simply awesome!
❤️
IMHO, Oahu has the prettiest mountains of all the Hawaiian islands.
Is she back in Hawaii?
Yes I am ❤️
Hi Sophie 👋,
First off, it’s great to see that you, your husband, and your dogs have safely made it back to Hawaii!
Love this. Wishing you all the best
Thank you.
Thank you! It's the yeti mic. Its in my description box
@@MalamaLife thank you and I appreciate your response. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ❤️
I love that you wear the bad saying “less is more“ :) Thank you for this video! I love the minimalist aestetics, the beauty in every shot you made and of cause, your message 💚
Thank you :))
Sophie you and your videos are so so so inspiring for me and I am so so excited to watch this video☺️💕
Aw thank you ❤️
Starting to love the process because if we didn't have challenges in life we would be bored.
So true
Thanks Nadine❤️
Good luck to you I'm just starting de cluttering for my move .. a new adventure ✨
@@juliafisher5844 Good luck to as well love. Its not easy and it can be a bit overwhelming but I find that keeping my focus on the goal motivates me every day. Blessings to you.

Haha awww thank you!!! ( lily is her name 🤭)
@@MalamaLife thank you 😊💕
Trying really hard to live in the present and go with the flow.
Live your life as you want. It's your life. So many people spend their life chasing their dreams but then find it's not as they expected.
Honestly the cookie place in Portimão still live rent free in my mind. IMUST GO BACK! Honestly I 100% agree with everything you say on this video ❤️ you are such a beautiful soul! Forever greatwful our paths crossed ❤️

Good morning, Malama! I noticed that there is a RUclipsr Connie Riet) copying your videos by using your voiceover.
I love your dress!! Could i please know where is it from? Ty! :)
I love this I am definitely getting my life together
Agree that life changes create a big shuffling. Our body gets so much used to them. However without this shuffling, growth doesn’t come.
