Request is : “To add all the pictures that are taken from the iPhone’s Camera app(from the beginning) to a specific album & automate it to run everytime I open the photos app.” I know there’s a shortcut already for this, but that’s not working in iOS 18 beta versions. So kindly create a shortcut which works irrespective of the iOS versions. Thank you😊
Thanks for the Shortcuts. Some of them don't work as you showed without editing, but I was able to get them all working as intended. For example, The Inbox sorter, it doesn't remove them from the Inbox as provided. Easy enough to add another action to remove them, though!

In a perfect world, the shortcut would actually identify those who did not have contact photos, than I could select several contacts, and than it would send me to a photo album to pick a photo. Than it would assign it to each person. I played around with it this weekend and I think it is doable and would be AMAZING. Especially because you can not bulk add contact images naturally through iOS. Let me know what you think
I have a shortcut that I use with the back tap feature. It will take a screenshot, copy it at the same time and ask you to "Save or Delete" the screenshot. The best part of it is if you choose to delete it, it will not even go to "Recently Deleted", but you can still access it because it is copied already, you can go anywhere and paste it. If you choose to save it, you will find it in Photos.
Hi Stephen! In the "Auto Daily Album" I also added an if statment between the find photos and the create album. So if no picture has been taken, no album is created... :)
This is fantastic! Thank you so much for doing these. I was wondering if you could build a shortcut that adds a revolving list of your last 5-10 copies to a shortcut that you could pull from. This would be different from using data jar or other apps like that, because these are just temporary saves and not permanent clips. Keep the good content coming!
Can you test this shortcut and tell me what you think? It’s basically like yours, except it allows you to select multiple photos at a times. The problem is that it’s duplicating photos and not removing the old ones from the “inbox” album

In Driving Focus there is an option to auto send a preset message to the person who has messaged you while you're in the Driving Focus mode while driving the car to avoid distractions but the limitation is that it only works with iMessage. So, I was thinking could help in creating an automation that will send the same sort of preset message whenever receive any message from a contact on WhatsApp while my Driving focus is enabled. I walk daily at different areas of my work building and as I walk I take pictures, then I email those pictures to myself and then I have to organize those pictures on MS word or MS excel. I would like to have a short cut that do this: - send the pictures as attachment on an email based on the location they were taken. - move those pictures to a folder called “work pictures “ plus the date taken as part of the folder name Thank you
getting precise locations inside a building could be tricky. if you look at the adress it will probably give you the same address for different locations inside the building and if you look for coordinates all will depend on how good the gps captures them to be able to differentiate between the different areas. A shortcut like this would return better results if you choose the location from a preset list after taking a picture.
That’s a little tricky because GPS isn’t that precise inside buildings. It can’t tell which room you’re in. The only solution I can think of is installing Bluetooth beacons in each room and checking at runtime which beacon the iPhone is connected to. Not the best solution and definitely not the easiest but I think that would work

I want to create a shortcut that I can trigger with an NFC tag (I know how to do this part), that will block myself from mindlessly grabbing my phone and scrolling Instagram etc., as I don't seem to have the willpower to do this on my own. You would need to create an automation per app that you want to restrict, so when app opens > check Focus mode. IF focus mode is active, go back to Home Screen. That would be the quickest way to set it up

Hi Steven, I hope you can help me. I live in a managed property where I can request housekeeping via a WhatsApp message. I’ve set up an NFC to scan every time I’m leaving the apartment that send a message via WhatsApp. Next level would be to send the message when I leave the apartment but only if two days are passed from the last request to housekeeping. I have in mind something like, logging an even on the calendar, when I leave the apartment check if the last event was more than two days, if two days are passed then send the message via WhatsApp. Can you please help me? Unfortunately the Shortcut can't "see" or check what app is currently active. You can program them to send every screenshot to a specific album, but it'll be one album every time.
@@beardfm Sure. As you know, In the “Media Type” there are (Videos, Selfies, Screenshots, etc.) I can define everything. But, when downloading a photo from the web or downloading a video by any shortcut, they are all saved in the main album. It will be easier to define the photos that have been taken by the camera than the ones I downloaded from a website. Like the Android photo App, there is a specific album for the camera capture (Photos & Videos). That’s why, it will be easy to upload the ones I captured to iCloud or Google Photos instead of uploading everything (Downloaded photos & videos, screenshots, etc.) and filling up my cloud storage. Hope it's clear and thanks for your reply.

Make sure to add an action after the move action that removes photo from album! I may have missed that action before exporting the Shortcut

Why do this when I can just search the date in the photo search bar?
It creates socials post for you and saves typing., Way easier.
Automating these tasks to happen behind the scenes is the key benefit.
