I know I was so freaked out by the beginning and I love every bit of it
You are right Eralia the game changes on your answers with the shrink just as it changes through the butterfly effect with your answers, and dont bother trying to outdo the game with reverse psyschology, they designed the game to counter reverse psychology, hell the whole game is massively based on fears and during production they even monitored test peoples pulse and heart ratings during certain segments to make sure that the game was scary. Also keep an eye for little sparkles of light and look around the area you are in for clues as the more clues you find the more of the plot will be revealed which is something you wanna find out as its really interesting.

That "Hold Still" mechanic is possibly my favorite of all time. I HATE it, because it does such a great job of making the player feel in the moment, and it's so effective.

Getting jumpscared by the title screen is the best and worst indication for how the game is going to go and I'm here for it

I'm the opposite I feel intense fear but it doesn't stop me from thinking or acting. It can be pleasant in the right doses, just enough to get some adrenaline moving you know, for the rush. But at a certain threshold it's definitely not a pleasurable thing anymore. It's like you don't know what it feels like to be awake until you've had a real adrenaline high.

This is one of THE best games to watch someone else play. I remember when this game just dropped my buddy and I played it together and it was so much fun getting our asses scared. Also, on the ps4 if you had a camera, the game would start recording just before a jump scare and you could rewatch your reactions. Ahhh good times.

This is gonna be a wild playthrough. The 3-5 business days for some of the choices is definitely gonna be interesting when they start timing you. Same with the spooks. Once they start sticking timed events right after a jump scare to catch players not paying attention.

AHHH ❤ this game is amazing! Perfect for Halloween- I love these characters, the story is just so good I can’t help but love all of the characters even though they’re horrible😂 so much camp, so much corn and cheese. I love everything about it, except the don’t move mechanic. It’s only part of this game I cannot physically do myself. especially when it requires you to do it longer, and they amp up the creepy music and a heartbeat.

It's made by the same game studio and features the same mechanics and elements. It was released last year, you might enjoy it.
After this game you HAVE to do Detroit: Become Human. It's a choice-based game like this that is so much more in depth and thought provoking and emotional. It's just incredible.
This is truly the only scary game I've been able to play through. Glad RUclips just recommended this to me, because I can already tell this is gonna be a fun ride hahaha

Recording protip! With your SM7B mic, there are two dip switches on the back. The first one (above the "SH" in SHURE) should be flipped down to get rid of those boomy plosives and breaths. It subdues the extreme bass that can feel unnatural with most voices.
