1968 SV479 NATO H84 Mk1 Brown Ammo Box Restoration - How to

In today's video, we have a 1968 SV479 NATO H84 Mk1 brown ammo box to restore. This SV479 NATO box was for sale locally and very cheap. I do like the original look of these old ammo boxes and prefer to keep their original however this particular ammo box has been painted several times in brown in the past so figured this is a perfect candidate for a how to restore ammo can video.
I don't normally films videos with no talking however I do watch a lot of videos like this and wanted to give it ago. If you like this style please let me know down below in the comments as have other items in need of a restore along with other ammo cases such as a 1942 US .30 Cal Carbine M1 ammo box.

I've just picked up two C374 Large Metal Ammo Boxes. They're a bit rusty especially around the hinges. Would vinegar rust removal followed by a tin of car spray paint be sufficient to protect them from future rust?

Why did you ruin a greatly preseved piece of history? Tger was nothing wrong wirh rhis ammo can, but you euuned the patina, history and looks of this classice for what? Just to make a video? Sorry pal, but not impressed!
