My neighbor gave me a cutting of this dreadful looking plant and I am trying so hard to love it. I had to do research to find out what it was. I let it sit out overnight to callous after putting peroxide on the end and then dusted with rooting hormone and planted the next morning.

You can, she said it was to help the end dry out. After cutting use peroxide and let sit out for a day or so, then plant.
