  • I was so excited to get my hands on this huge aloe vera and I do LOVE a good rescue! This quickly turned into a much bigger project than I was expecting. As far as a miticide, the only one I found that could potentially work is neem oil or mite x. If there are any other suggestions, let me know what's worked well for you. Let's hope for the best!

You do so many rescues, it would be a nice format for your channel to give updates. This will introduce viewers to your previous shorts, videos and lead to more subscribers. I always want to know how things work out after you've triaged the sickly, injured guys! Maybe end with still photos of Before, After (time period). 💜💜💜

@@PlantswithKrystal ooh, what if you take all your now healthy rescues, take the picture of the before and after and just make a short with those.
And put that sad animal rescue music over it and some voice over of "rescue a plant today"
And "these are rescues before vs. After given a new home"

I live in Phoenix and last spring I broke up a cluster of Aloe I had out front. I got busy and left all the pups sitting on the edge of the planting bed through all of summer. There were like 30 or so pups and they all survived the Arizona heat. They're all potted up now. Proof that about the only bad thing you can do to aloe os over water it. I was honestly amazed. Even the tiniest pups live.

Aloe Vera is MAGIC. A friends dog came over while I wasn’t there and totally tore up my poor aloe plant. I was able to rescue her and save some of the pups that were torn out. But I wasn’t sure how to take care of the pups… so I kind of just decided to pot them and ignore them and let them die… that was 2 years ago, AND THE PUPS ARE STILL GREEN AND STILL HAVE WORKING ROOTS. I just decided to actually do research and care for them since they’re so determined to live!!
Also, fun fact: I was actually getting a tattoo of *that* Aloe Vera plant when the dog tore her up 🥲. It was quite a shock when I came home and wanted to take a picture of my tattoo next to my plant to have her torn out of her soil and pups everywhere 😭. But she’s all good now! I love Aloe Vera so much, which is why I have a tattoo of the one I brought from home. They are extremely resilient and healing. Any cut, rash, burn, blemish, open wound, aloe Vera will heal you right up! Everyone should have an Aloe Vera plant!!

Hi Krystal 😃 your channel has become my go-to for planty advice and I am very grateful for your guidance! I have quite a few plants now and they are thriving - although I did have several die in the process :( but thank you for all that you are sharing, and keep going ❤️

Your videos and shorts have helped me immensely with the couple plants that I do have! My cactus that I had was growing too tall so I had to propagate and replant her in a bigger pot and I used your videos to help me! I knew it was a success because within a month my cactus is growing three new babies on it 🥰

Anyways u have been my go to lately because no matter what kind of mood I'm in by the time the video is over I'm all better 😍 so Thank you so much! I really really appreciate everything you do ❤️ and I am praying for you always I know loosing a loved one is so very hard

I use an old pet tray from when I bought my bunny & thought she was supposed to live in a cage… soon after I potty trained bunny & she lives in my master bedroom, got rid of the cage but kept the tray for repots.

Ever since I've watched your plant videos', I've been getting rescues myself. I have a poinsettia (looks like Christmas in my grow tent), a Dieffenbachia, Peace lily and a variegated rubber tree. This has helped me not be as stressed out and so I thank you for the influence you have had on me.

Yeah, I usually water mine once a month or once every 2 or 3 months. They carry a bunch of water in the soil and plant. If you get one and it wrinkles a bit and you've already watered it once that month, water it again. Matters on climates and indoor or outdoor.
