Ooh okay yea! That actually makes a lot of sense hahah I always forget that there’s probably specific terms for these things, I make up the name😂

That might be the reason I could never find a tutorial for that kind of ruffle which is called flounce 😮 Luckily a bumped into Natalia's video, found it by a chance.

I love the way that you explain everything. I've watched so many other sewing tutorials where I've either fallen asleep halfway through or didn't understand what was going on. You explain things so clearly and simply and your videos are well organized and edited. Thank you!

Hii, I just loove how you are willing to share all of your knowledge with us, I've learned soo much from your past videos, now I'm starting to understand a lot more about pattern making and all of that, I used to think than I had to have certain patterns in order to make the clothes that I wanted to make, but thanks to your videos now I realized that I can just simply observe and analyze the clothes in order to make a customizable pattern for myself (or anyone, really) and that's huuuge for me. You kinda opened my eyes on that! So thank youuuu.. and since I've started watching your videos I've been soo inspired

To draw a perfect circle tie a piece of string around a marker/pencil. Hold down the other side of the string in the centre of your circle with one finger and draw around in a radial motion.

Heyy i love your channel it has taught me so much in a matter of days. Much clearer than my first year of fashion design. I especially love the pattern making videos, in the future could you do a sleeve pattern tutorial for fashion 101 and also how to properly sew in the sleeve i always struggle with that. Much love!!!

An easy way to work out a ruffle is to measure the width or length of the garment it is to go on. For example a skirt hem might be 49 inches. Take one inch off and divide by 6. Ie = 8 (saves you doing the Pii sums ) the 8 inches becomes the size of circle you need to draw then make it whatever depth you want the ruffle to be. 😘

When you get back from your fashion show, congratulations by the way massive achievement coming from fashion school to that, i hope i am one day able to experience the same. But i would love to see a video on how to create patterns for stretch fabrics. Do you still use regular blocks or do you approach it in another way, my teachers dont teach us this so i would love to know

After I secure the ruffles with a stitch and take off the gathering stitch, my ruffles still move around the thread. How do I avoid that?

Like your videos, but I have noticed that in general many fashion desigers are not wear itself cloths what they make.. mystery. Video would be excellent opportunity to promote something special what you have make by wearing them? - and yes I understand that not every outfit is suitable as working outfit, so not have to be exactly the same what you working right now.

I’ve worn my own clothing in other videos! I just don’t wear it in every single one hahah
