My favorite band my whole life. Iam turning 49 this year...got into them from my brothers when i was around 6 years of age. Seen them live 5 times, but never had the opportunity to meet them and tell them how much they meant to me in my life. You did awesome!
Greatest bands ever, seen them many time's, i got into them from my Brother, he passed away in 2012, he also along with me have all their albums and singles. They will always be remembered as the greatest.. i met Gene back in 1989 and have a sample of his blood....
Omg Jordan !! You’re living my ultimate dream! Eric singer is a legend and the fact you were so close to kiss. Do you know they saved my life as a teenager ? I was suffering severe depression and I discovered Kiss properly when I watched Detroit rock city. I heard Paul Stanley’s voice and it changed my life. They introduced me to who I am now. They gave me a new sense of power and I was no longer afraid to be me. Gah tears watching this! That was 22 years ago. I got a lot of flack for loving them and for being me but I never stopped. I still have all of my kiss collectibles. Thank you so much Eric thank you kiss for saving me.

When I owned my music stores, I hosted Eric for a drum clinic sponsored by Pearl drums back when Kiss decided to put the makeup back on and do a reunion tour with Ace and Peter. He did a fantastic job and I bought the kit he used at the clinic. Afterwards, we went out to eat, got drunk and hit the strip clubs. We wrapped up the evening about 4 am and it was one of the best times I ever had. He was so much fun to hang out with because his energy and sense of humor are great! Wish we could do it again! Great memories!
@@markr.devereux3385 To each his own but I can tell you from first hand experience, Peter might be the original but Eric is a much better drummer. What Eric does in Kiss shows off about half of his actual drumming capabilities. He’s a damn good double bass player and he has some great chops. Great teacher too and that’s not an opinion, that’s a fact!

I had the option of hosting him but chose Mike Portnoy instead for obvious reasons. That wasn’t my point. I’m talking about talent, ability and musicianship and Peter is as lame as they come in those categories. He is an average drummer at best but yes, he’s considered a rock god due to the fame and success of the band. Eric Singer is a monster player and there’s no disputing that. He can play circles around Peter without even trying. That was my point. If you disagree with that, you’re obviously not a drummer or you’re just star struck.
A cousin I use to hang out with was a member of the KISS army. Man, those were some of the best days of my life. Growing up in the 70's was sooooo much fun.

And it was so much fun, such a party and we are still talking about it. We felt like we got to every experience the concert watching this vlog today. The Kiss guys are such a nice bunch of people. My family and I have hung out with them a lot, playing music, Christmas parties, and we’ve been backstage with them too :) It looks like you had a great time! My son Sam Stone is a singer and he & Paul’s son Evan are very good friends. Sam and Evan had a band together and remain good friends. Evan is the nicest guy too, just like his dad Paul and his mom Pam. What a wonderful, kind family the Stanley’s are. For Sam’s 16th Birthday a few years ago they GAVE Sam KISS concert tickets for our family. We had great seats, sat with their families and then were backstage for while with everyone. It was So much FUN!! Best concert Ever! I thought I’d share a little bit of our story with you, as it was really fun to watch this video, and reminded me of all of the fun! Thank You for sharing!!! We saw them in Phoenix as part of their End of the Road Tour, I wasn't a die hard Kiss fan before......but we are trying to see all artists that are legends regardless. BEST CONCERT WE HAVE EVER SEEN!!!!!!! PERIOD.These guys have it all! We have seen A lot of artists, but man......these are LEGENDS!!!!!!!!!
The confetti shower started in 75 when KISS went to Cadillac High School. There's a great photo of Paul running a play with the football team. There's a video on it on YT.

I grew up painting my face like KISS. I actually had the original Mego Dolls. I wish I still had them, but I had to try an take the make up off, so I could see what they really looked like! I still have my colorforms set from 78.

I went to an ELVIS concert at the Nassau colicum in union sale, I met some people there , I took some great pictures of him and made a copy for a girl I met there, gave them to about 10 days later and she gave me two tickets to see kiss, I hate to say it but I gave them away, I was and still am into doo wop and old music now almost 50 years later I regret giving them away..
