@@Mars_Vortex i got into the gauntlet on leagues with some required stats under 70 and it doesn't stop you from using all the gear, i can use the crystal axe in there with 65 woodcutting even though the real one outside of the gauntlet requires 71, though in the real game all relevant stats will be 70 anyway
"If you dont get a bowstring for your first weapon upgrade, dont bother fighting something that's not the dark beast." This guide is for idiots. I'm an idiot. Don't hit me with triple negatives.
This guide is okay. But frankly, the strategy can be simplified and more specific. When you start, walk around the boss room in every adjacent room. Acquire 7 of each armor resource and ensure you get a weapon thing. Grab an herb or two if you see. Drop tools as you get 7 of that resource. Then, go to main room. Drop all supplies. Make 3 vials. Head opposite direction of boss room to reach outside row. Fish when you see spots. Kill bosses. Fill up vials in fishing spots. Get plenty of shards, maybe kill a few tier 3’s. I usually try to find range and mage piece for top tier weapon. After this, tele to center. Drop fish. Pick up supplies. Make everything tier 2. Pick up fish. Cook fish. Enter boss room. Pray range right away. Then follow basic boss strategy. This guide was okay… but it didn’t really give a strategy. I hope this helps.
Hey dude your guide made it really easy to learn the basics and i have since adapted my method and am completing corrupted without too much difficulty. Thanks so much!
Good guide. Went from being very nervous about the gauntlet to 5 KC and b2b2b wins (normal Gauntlet*). Only really going for KC to be ranked on the HiScores but I seem to be getting the hang of it. Looking forward to progressing to Corrupted Gauntlet after I get ranked for normal.
Thanks! I am new to gauntlet and mobile only so I was having trouble pathing to get resources, I didn't know I could make seeds, this makes it very straightforward and I'm getting better gear doing it. Thanks!
Actually at about 5:23, you don't want those different tiers of armor. According to the OSRS Wiki, you only reduce the Hunllef's damage when wearing a full set of a certain tier of armor. So if you wear a tier 3 body, tier 2 legs, and tier 1 helm, the Hunllef's max will be the same as if you're wearing full tier 1 armor. It's best to make a full set of tier 2 when learning, as I suggest in my guide. Other than the outdated/incorrect info here and there, this is a good quality guide! Good job Silven.
Cheers mate! When it was released there were quite a few people saying it was too difficult so my main goal was to help those people get it complete. Unfortunately the information wasn't all available back then :)
This is my first attempt at video making. It is definitely terrible, but hopefully it helps at least one person out. The actual Gauntlet run starts at ruclips.net/video/h--9uPRc50U/видео.html
82 Range 77 Magic 85 Atk/Str and 80 Def Can't get the thing down past half health. Think I'll slay and get my stats up instead for a while. Really fun minigame though.
Honestly, it was very hard to gauge because I can't brew down to test stats (which is what I normally do for higher end content) If you have insight because you're that level I'd be happy to hear it so I can write some notes in a pinned comment to help others =)
Not much insight as I only have 3kc so far but I'd say if you're lower combat you definitely need t2 armor, at least a t3 wep, and a full inventory of food. Your guide is quite comprehensive really, not sure what else could be said.
Anyone who manages to complete the quest is hardly an idiot i uses these guides because i work to much took 3 days to complete the quest just because i can't spend all day on it
how im a idiot, just finishing the quest and what to see a guide to see how the game roles LOL if you want to show the easiest or hardest wateva, only what to know how to play the minigame
I don't really think anybody's an idiot, the series is more akin to those books for dummies. I just dumb down the strategy and guide to the point it would've been very useful for me when i was learning.
wtf is this guide is like u squeeze everything u can into a 11min video , 7min into the video i still dont understand whats the basic approach . literally too fast idk how people are watching this guide that is meant for noobs lmao
That title is kinda rude honestly, the first thing you do is call me a runescape idiot. Which doesn't make me feel good at all. Just cause I don't know about some content doesn't mean I'm an idiot.
@My name is so obnoxiously long and there is absolutely nothing you can do about the matter Cx lolz exactly what part makes you think that I'm a snowflake? All I do is state a fact, I looked up a guide for the gauntlet and that title made me not want to watch it cause I feel he's judging me without even knowing me at all, which is extremely rude and off putting. Call me a snowflake all you want but in real life calling someone you don't know an idiot, is a really bad first impression.
Brisky i’ve heard about “x for dummies” but not “x for idiots” the big difference there is dummies is a silly word whereas idiot is a rather hard word.
Why make a piece of t3 armour if you're not going ahead and making the whole set t3? Sorry, everyone else has always said to not make anything above t1 unless you do the whole set or it's useless
New Information:
- The Heffalump changes prayers every 6 player attacks.
- Had friends clear with 80 base stats but it was a struggle, so maybe 85+ for easier clears

Even More, as of the next update:
- The Heffalump will ALWAYS begin with a Range attack
- Praying correctly will reduce the damage even further while praying incorrectly will be more punishing
The first attack is always ranged now, it was an update.
Do you have to have 70 in all skill reqs to do this at all or is it recommended
@@Mars_Vortex you have to have the stats to complete song of the elves which is 70 in a good amount of stats

to your credit you know what triple negative is
Mah bad haha
Its a quadruple negative if we count your attitude!
no u
Ez, only kill dark beast if u still need bow string. Now worth wasting time on bear/dragon :)
Got it first try with your guide! Just paused it at 6:00 after finishing watching. It's very fun, thanks for making this!
"for the rs idiot"
me: likes, subscribes, realizes this is the perfect guide for me
I clicked the video instantly
Really glad you tailored this guide completely for me, cheers mate
No worries my dude!
Thanks for the easy and relatively quick guide. TBH I just look for the shortest guide for this kind of stuff hahah. Great quality
Awesome guide! Barely killed the final boss of SotE so I was a bit scared to try stuff in Prifddinas, this looks like a lot of fun!
It's so much fun haha
literally beat fragment with 1 hp left at 87cb
omg such a great guide, this is insane!
Thanks!

this was worse than the video by far m8 sorry
good lord. The prep for this sounds harder than the corrupted gauntlet
? It’s literally easier than corrupted in every aspect lol
There really isn't a single good or even semi decent guide for this boss on RUclips it's crazy lol
I trust you on this guide, ur guide on Fire cape helped me get atleast 5 capes :) Nice video!
This video was by far the best one I watched, was able to get my first gauntlet kill after watching this, had 5 deaths before that. Thank you!
Thanks!

Personally i haven't really noticed much of a difference between t1 and t2 armour at the boss fight. But that could be me.
I can't remember the exact stats but it's like 8% change. not super noticeable but could be enough to safe you.

most guides for this are like 1,5 hours. Ty for this!
Can you make a playlist called "For the RuneScape Idiot"? Would really help to have a list of your amazing guides
Actually a great Idea, going to do that now =)
Would this be a good way to practice for raids if you’ve never done raids before
I find raids to be easier than this

Cheers!

@@SilvenVids Ahh true. Early guides don't usually stand the tests of time due to updates and new information.
I keep running out of time, no idea what to drop or what to pick up strategically
This is basically dungeoning, I like it
I loved it to start with but the rewards aren't great to stick around forever =(
Silven You’re still looking at an average of 1.7m/hr which isn’t too bad. Still better than barrows.
@@SilvenVids why not do the corrupted? Isn't that like up to 4m/hr?
@@kaydenhenry1807 You can, but at the levels you can do it efficiently for 4m/hr it's better to do raids or hydra for 5+/hr

mah man with the timely guide Pog
Yeeee boiii
Nice walkthrough, thanks.
No worries =)
Hi I'm an idiot. This is perfect 👌
I just struggle to retain this info in the moment I’m gonna struggle heavily with raids I think
It's kind of hard to retain info when there is so much at once. That's why I try to include summaries and graphics to help people remember.
This was a really good guide dude, nice video
Thanks man =D
this is such a good video thank you
high quality guide. thx mate
So does his prayer switch indicate he’s switching Combat styles or is it just based off 4 casts?
Got my second kill right now ty so much :)
Thanks bro!
First 5 attempt manage to get it down to 60 hp =(.
Nice guide tho, i just need to practice the fight
82 Range 77 Magic 85 Atk/Str and 80 Def Can't get the thing down past half health. Think I'll slay and get my stats up instead for a while. Really fun minigame though.

watched this, got crystal weapon seed 2kc on 4th attempt. rebuild done lmfao.
Are these hd graphics with a client?
itzzaster pretty sure jagex just made the gauntlet look this nice
Great video son x x x

God damn this is way too complicated. I'll stick with Zalcano 😂
=(
it seems complicated at first but its super simple after a few runs
i make 1 kill and then never kill that shit again, nice vid
hahahahahaha
U made it sound so easy. I spent 3 hours here and still havent gotten a kc.
very helpful thanks

if there was no time limit then we wouldn't need guides

can you clear this as a max zerk ?
Yeah easily
excelente aunque mi ingles es poco.... explicaste muy bien.

sorry *Joggleflonx
"just" song of the elves lmao. It doesn't seem like a lot to us but it's a fairly tall order if you're low level lol
this looks complicated >:[] sooo many items

You literally were going so slow. But once it came to being inside and do the mini-game you talked so fast I had to turn it to .5x lol.
cool
I must be stupider than an idiot cuz this don't make no sense. 😅
wish me luck
