As someone who has learned cg mainly through trial and error (and dying over and over again for hours) this is honestly the best cg guide not only for ironmen but in general. I even learned some tips with prep that I didn't even know before and I have almost 100 kc. Great guide and subbed.
got my first gauntlet kc today! im a main and ive had this quest done for a long time but im getting back into the game and wanna get better at pvm so i decided to learn more bosses!
After over 370 attempts, and around 270 kc, I can attest this is the guide which made t2 prep the easiest for me. I was able to bring my preps down to a consistent 5:15 using the strategies outlined here.
8:21 you can also use the "hide dead npcs" option of the "entity hider" plugin so the monster is gone once it has 0 hp, no need to shift click through the dying monster
This is definitively the best guide for Corrupt Gauntlet. I've gotten over the hurdle of the first dozen kills and can confirm everything said here is phenomenal information. Instant sub.
I've done like 75 attempts with 20kc and this taught me several things I wasn't aware of before so thank you for the tips. Also, the snake comparison for the tornadoes is so apt that I wish I'd watched your video before ever trying CG because that explanation fits my learned understanding of how to run them so well that it would have saved me a lot of trial and error.
hands down one of the best guides, the one thing I might also suggest is to eat when switching weapon and you'll usually only lose one tick. the steel skin has been helping me so much though, thanks!
my man ... the legend... this has been by far the most simple and yet thorough guide i've seen and i've seen many... u just gained yerself a sub, many many thanks
For anyone mastering this method and the boss. Consider doing T1 armour with T3 weapon runs. Once I switched to this i have never reset since. I never ran out of food killing the boss and only died when making mistakes. The max hit on you will be 13 with T1 armour
Nice guide. Lot of good info I didn't know during prep. I think the only thing I didn't see was that you can combine your potion doses, as you only make a 3 dose potion & it can be made into 4, often saving you an extra inventory spot.
Great guide - one nitpicky thing is that for the floor patterns part (around 16:20), it's actually not just > 1/3; it's the first 1/3 of health that has one set of patterns, the middle 1/3 that has another set, and the final 1/3 that has the complex looking ones (which was labeled correctly). For example, you'll never get the patterns that have the "gutters" on both sides in the first 1/3 of the health bar. This may have been a recent change since i've only been doing gauntlet for the past month or so, but after 600 KC I can say this very confidently!
Thanks for pointing this out! When making this video I didn't notice there was a difference between first 1/3 and second 1/3 because they are so similar, but it does clearly state in the wiki that there are 3 phases. Love when you guys point out these things for me so I can make more accurate information in the future, thanks again :)
Awesome guide! Struggling to get my first CG kill even though I'm breezing through regular Gauntlet, so hopefully this helps me get over that final hurdle!
Very nice and thorough guide! Although, I disagree with dismissing the Hunllef helper plugin entirely, as it does not require any maintenance as long as you don't get trampled (which, after your first few tries, shouldn't happen). The "babysitting" (as you called it) required, consists of pressing a button as you take the first hit. It made a world of difference to me because I could focus on everything else and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone know to the Corrupted Gauntlet.
I'm glad it worked for you, I personally just found it easier to listen for the sound effect. But there definitely still is merit in using the plugin if it helps you!
I'm around 1200kc I've always used the hunllef helper plugin and I always recommend it to players looking to learn it. Take advantage of every little thing you can
If it helps, good for you. I never tried it because I watched some videos where people were using it and it sounded very annoying and bad having a ugly voice repeatedly saying 3 2 1 mage/range throughout the fight. The game sound and visuals are enough for me. When you learn the mechanics properly you can tell when you have to switch prayers, it's just a 4 attack cycle after all (similar to Hydra which is 3 attacks).
This is a phenomenal guide as others have said. Great info with good tips and tricks in a great format. You have a good tone for teaching as well, some of the most well described information from any guide i've watched for any content subbed for more
Wait, you can grind the weapon drop into shards? OOoooooo... Good guide. Don't be afraid of the spike (melee) option. Chances are you have piety, but no rigour or augury, so use it. Just have extra food for walking around when the patterns lock you too far from the boss. With thier 2 armor though he barely nicks you.
i have watched a couple of guides of CG but to no good, i tryed again and again, and only in this guide i found out some of the errors i made and why i alwasy run out of shard to make armour or pots, im not currently playing osrs due to personal reasons, but in 2 or 3 days when im back, the first thing im going to do is go to CG to try my luck, amazing guide honestly
rigour but mostly augury definitely isn't needed, I've had a few runs where I was running low on prayer so I had to use eagle eye and mystic might to conserve, the most important thing is making absolute sure you are switching your weapons as soon as the hunllef prayer switches otherwise it might just out dps you and run you out of food
Great guide. If I don't get both tier 3 weapons by the time I'm done with the 3 west or east side rooms should I restart, or go to the north 3 rooms and hunt for the tier 3 upgrade there? Thanks.
It really depends how much time you have left, but if you have 1 tier 3 weapon and a tier 2 weapon you can still definitely get the kill it will just be harder.
Nice! Will test out corrupted gauntlet again can do reg gauntlet but kept getting slaughtered at CG I've heard t2 armour makes it so much nicer so imma really try to get the extra stuff for t2, I think most of my deaths are trying to dps versus eat and spam clicking when running from tornados instead of just one or two clicks in the direction I'm going thanks for guide imma re watch certain parts until I'm proficient at it just a matter of time before getting it down
Yeah, tier 2 armour makes a world of difference in your survivability. With the tornados it can be overwhelming at first but trying not to spam click when running from them is crucial, keep at it man you got this :)
I was hoping for a bit more than basic info from your barrows guide but this one is incredible! with proper stats and all considering lack of prayers for us beginners.
I would say you can do this with lower stats, look up 'lowllef' he has 230 kc with 80 mage and range. Also if you guys have decent melee stats and piety you can 100% use halberd. It's faster attack speed and you have piety for boosted damage. It also means you only ever need 2 demi bosses, with forcing mage and range you often need to kill 3 to get the 2 orbs (e.g. you need to find 2 melee and 1 mage)
15:25, you state tornadoes do not count as part of his 4 attack cycle. They do count. It's only the stomp that does not count. Source: I've done CG and wiki.
did you really need to add "ironman friendly" for a minigame that specifically does not require any items?that's like calling a bottle of water "vegan water" lol
i mean, sometimes guides will recommend shit like rigour and augury when you really don't need em and obviously aren't able to easily get your hands on those as an iron
As someone who has learned cg mainly through trial and error (and dying over and over again for hours) this is honestly the best cg guide not only for ironmen but in general. I even learned some tips with prep that I didn't even know before and I have almost 100 kc. Great guide and subbed.
I am really glad it could help! Thanks for the kind words.
I’m 0-61 now
"not only for ironmen but in general"
being an ironman makes literally no difference in the case of CG
@@jurgnobs1308 it's kinda does though, rigour and augury are so strong, and ironmen won't have access to them unlike very late
@@ConcoGamingPH ok fair, didn't think about the prayers
An absolute beast of a Guide! No useless talking, straight to the point, detailed and calmly spoken. Great content, keep it running, sir!
Extremely thorough guide! Thanks for taking the time to put this information together for the OSRS community
got my first gauntlet kc today! im a main and ive had this quest done for a long time but im getting back into the game and wanna get better at pvm so i decided to learn more bosses!
After over 370 attempts, and around 270 kc, I can attest this is the guide which made t2 prep the easiest for me. I was able to bring my preps down to a consistent 5:15 using the strategies outlined here.
"Go for what you can see va what might be around the corner" best prep advice ever. Also to NOT get any fish until ur done with the rest of the prep.
i still recommend this guide to my osrs friends who are learning.
8:21 you can also use the "hide dead npcs" option of the "entity hider" plugin so the monster is gone once it has 0 hp, no need to shift click through the dying monster
So many guides skip over critical information. I had several "I wish I knew that earlier." moments in this video. Great guide.
Thank you so much for this guide! Following this has enabled me to actually be able to complete CG. Prepping was so overwhelming to me before this.
This guide is so good. Definitely the best one on youtube for CG. Got my first kc's from this, 2 armour seeds down, 4 to go!
This is definitively the best guide for Corrupt Gauntlet. I've gotten over the hurdle of the first dozen kills and can confirm everything said here is phenomenal information. Instant sub.
That's awesome man! Glad it could help :)

Absolutely best guide out of all the ones I've watched. Appreciate the effort!
I watched alot of tutorials, after 28 failed attempts, i beat CG first time after watching this video. great stuff!
my man ... the legend... this has been by far the most simple and yet thorough guide i've seen and i've seen many... u just gained yerself a sub, many many thanks
incredible guide, very comprehensive and comprehensible thank you
Best guide ever created for gauntlet , you are a natural at explaining clearly =P
Best CG guide I've seen, and i've seen A LOT. So many thoughtful tips in here and so well explained. Thank you
and you just helped me get KC numero uno on day 1. Thank you brother
Glad it could help! and gratz on your first KC :)
Thank you watched this video and have it on farm now with 85 range/mage 70 pray 82 def
Haven't managed to complete a KC just yet but after watching this I feel confident it's only a matter of time 😊
Good luck, you got this :)
@Rosey RS Update: got my first KC this morning 😊
Then had to do 8 hours driving 😵
Congratz!

What stats would you recommend?
I have:
76 HP
Low 70s for melee
71 Range
80 Mage
62 Pray
So we made it this far boys congratulations 🎉🎉

I want you to know I was 1 kill 43 deaths at CG. I just got 4 consecutive kc thanks to your video. Thank you so much homie. Liked and subscribed.
That's awesome, congrats! I'm glad I could help :)
Awesome guide! Struggling to get my first CG kill even though I'm breezing through regular Gauntlet, so hopefully this helps me get over that final hurdle!
Thanks! Keep at it I'm sure you'll get that first CG kill soon!
Returning player after 5 yrs off, helped me a lot with this so thanks. And subbed, really high quality video
Glad I could help :)

10/10 best cg guide I've seen
Thanks!
Great vid, hopefully gets more views soon!
Thanks :)
Best guide seen so far! TOA next?
very clear and precise, awesome guide!
I died to running out of food a couple times before checking this guide. still a great video
not an ironman, but I'm too broke to get rigour and still new to bossing. great guide my dude
Thanks, and hey gauntlet is a really good money maker and doesn't require any input costs so its a solid place to build some wealth.
Very helpful, I was struggling to get a few kc but this video helped quite a bit.
so helpful this is my gauntlet bible thank you sir!
Something that can help with mouse movement is moving the protection prayer location to the far left top to bottom
This is too cool! Really great info!😊
Great video my friend thank you so much
Super helpful bro. You did an amazing job on this video!
Appreciate it!
Thanks for this, great guide. Hope your channel gets some traction from this cuz you deserve it.
No problem, I'm glad it could help and I appreciate the kind words :)
subbed, very underrated guide.
Keep it up! You will grow big.
Really well done and explained video!
Thanks, I hope it helped!
Fantastic guide good job.
Always wondered if I could set keybinds but never looked. Really wish I watched this before I did the whisperer 😂
rigour but mostly augury definitely isn't needed, I've had a few runs where I was running low on prayer so I had to use eagle eye and mystic might to conserve, the most important thing is making absolute sure you are switching your weapons as soon as the hunllef prayer switches otherwise it might just out dps you and run you out of food
I find my self running to much to dps I’m 0-61 atm closest I got was 61 life on his bar
Very well done. Thank you!
Great video man
Did Jagex change it to where the cg room is always east or west now instead of north like it is in this guide throughout
Nice video, definitely learned a few new things! What's the plugin that shows your healthbar and prayer tick timer like that?
Thanks! The pluggin is called "Status Bars"
Loving the new content
Thanks!
This is the best guide ever finely a good video 😊😊
Glad it helped!
Good guide, but those arent minimum stat requirements, can easy do with wayy less
Yeah I was also thinking this.
side note: I wish castle wars was still a thing as it was back in the day.
I have 140 kc but still learnt a bunch thanks mate I'm a new subscriber. Do krill or gandos next
I'm glad it could help! God Wars Dungeon is on my radar in the future :)
Even though I have 200 KC, I still learned some things :D
Great guide. If I don't get both tier 3 weapons by the time I'm done with the 3 west or east side rooms should I restart, or go to the north 3 rooms and hunt for the tier 3 upgrade there? Thanks.
It really depends how much time you have left, but if you have 1 tier 3 weapon and a tier 2 weapon you can still definitely get the kill it will just be harder.
Glad I clicked on this even though I'm 100+ kc, learned some better strats and mechanics
Glad to help :)

This is the way
AWSORME GUIDE MAN
How did you highlight the tornadoes?
Is it worth turning some of the food in combo food?
Ive been looking for the max hits. I fnd on the wiki page 68 for stomp. But what abt mage and rnge max hits?
How can i mark those tornados so they have a yellow tile? i cant click them like a normal npc
This guide is awful. I followed it and am now 985kc without a seed.
On the other hand, this is the best guide by far. Impeccable job
Not going to lie, you had me at first, thanks for the kind words haha

What fcks me up is when he cancels ur prayer, that's when i eat a lot
so this is like dungeoneering?
Yeah, its a lot like a simplified version of dungeoneering.
I always forget people don't use f-keys in this game. Without them the game feels so clunky
Haha, yeah at some point you just absolutely need to use them to enjoy bossing.
theres 2 types of people, rush cg asap for bowfa! 81 ranged and mage is enough!, the other guy: get 90+ ranged
Meanwhile i have 99 att/str/ranged/mage and 96 def and still havent survived CG. I suck.
i have like 60 attempts 4 kills and for some reason half of my kills are with melee
I've downloaded the damn gauntlet plugins but they do not work lol like even in the gauntlet, I have them on and they do not work.
I would double check you have them enabled or look through the settings to see if certain things are perhaps unticked.
looks at recommended stats.
looks at own stats.
there's only uhhhhh around 10 lvl lower than the recommended. :)
on every single stat haha
7m 30 sec to loot is a piss take really from jagex
15:27 the summon tornado move DOES count towards the 4 attack cycle*
15:25, you state tornadoes do not count as part of his 4 attack cycle.
They do count. It's only the stomp that does not count.
Source: I've done CG and wiki.
Thank god I thought I was going crazy and no one in the comments mentioned it😂
k lets simplify it, to much information.
I was getting consistent kills at base 70s
So based on the comments my hc is gonna die😂
Learning Gauntlet for the first time on a HC is risky haha, good luck!
asdf
shits to complicated, 0 kc for ever
gyrm ==> grym
did you really need to add "ironman friendly" for a minigame that specifically does not require any items?that's like calling a bottle of water "vegan water" lol
prayers
"ironman friendly"
no shit you literally need nothing but the quest to do this lol
i mean, sometimes guides will recommend shit like rigour and augury when you really don't need em and obviously aren't able to easily get your hands on those as an iron
